ProFlowers review in Houston, Texas: False representation of pricing policies

Placed an order with Pro Flowers for Mother's Day on May 6th. No where did it say, except on confirmation page that there was additional charges ($14.99 was more than enough), plus additional handling. You deliver flowers, you should handle them with care anyway and not pass that off to consumers. To conclude, you advertise $19.99, and with your delivery, buying the cute cup, handling, tax, and spend an additional $60.00 more. Not ethical, nor good business. Will NEVER buy from this outfit again. Will use my local florist. Yes, I usually do not miss this ocassion, but had an emergency.

ProFlowers review in Eatontown, New Jersey: Not PRO Flowers customer svc stinks

Never, never take a chance on their rip-off "Grower's Choice." While there's a nice picture and disclaimer about the flowers you might get, if you hate them, you're out. They couldn't give one darn that I got 24 red roses for my mother-in-law. Not even willing to help me out because I need them today. Customer Service Rep was unbelievably rude and hung up. She told me that "it is what it is - there's nothing we're going to do about it" So I went to 1800flowers.com because I STILL need flowers for tonight. ALWAYS have flowers sent to yourself if possible. I would have been so embarrassed if my m-i-l received 2 dz red roses (no baby's breath, greens, etc) from her daughter-in-law1! YUCK! But the worst part was the rude and indignant treatment of their CSR, who ended up hanging up on me. Plenty of online flowers companies. Choose one who is truly a "PRO" BTW, wasted $63 - arrangement "listed as $29.99. Another nod to their outrageous and hidden charges. Just save yourself the aggravation and go somewhere else.

Proflowers sent a different bouquet than the one I ordered!!!

I ordered my mother a beautiful bouquet of light and dark pink roses, green fuji mums, and two other types of flowers. The photo was beautiful. My mother called and said what lovely roses I sent. I asked how cool the fuji mums looked and she said there were none. I had her send a photo of her bouquet and it was a skimpy assortment of roses in this weak looking vase! I was furious. I called Proflowers to discuss what happened and the representative argued with me rather than resolve my issue. She explained that because the florist who arranged my bouquet didn't have the items I ordered on hand, she gave me a totally different bouquet, which wasn't even close to the price range that I had paid and without consulting me I might add! She said this is standard procedure. I told her this was unacceptable and I asked to speak to a supervisor. She pretended to transfer me and actually hung up on me instead. I called back and got a more receptive person afterwards who refunded my money but I will never order flowers from this second-rate, fly-by-night company ever again.

Wow, 2 seconds after I got the final bill and saw all the additional charges I cancelled twice to make sure. I even went so far as to check the shipping info and found that nothing had been set up.

Customer service did not respond and now the shipping info has been received 4 hours after I cancelled.

My $35 plant is costing a total of $75. That is including a 25% family discount.

Hope the plant lasts a very long time.

ProFlowers review in Washington, District Of Columbia: Order delivered 250 miles away from actual address

I used PF for the first time this week and like many of you rec'd numerous add on fees/charges on the advertised special that was to include a free vase. One order rec'd the free vase and the other did not. Two $19.99 arrangements cost me over $80.00. My orders were supposed to be delivered Sat 5/7/11 so that someone one would be home to accept. Today when I tracked the one bound for Sarasota FL it shows it was delivered and left at the door of a home in North Palm Beach Florid, 250 miles away. I have now been on hold for over an hour trying to resolve this, I will never use them again.

24.99 suddenly turns into $63.56.

No way to cancel your order. Charges are not seen until the very end.

Proflowers price changes at check out

I placed an order for flowers with Proflowers. Received confirmation on flowers but not from Proflowers..It was Florist Express. Flowers started out at $49.99 and went to extra 7.99 which was for same day delivery and that was ok. It wasn't ok when they added $15.99 for a service charge. Don't know what that was about. Ended up with charge of $73.97. Then, I see where I qualify for a $15.00 rebate. Little did I know that came with a monthly charge to do business with other companies affiliated with the flower company. It would be charged to my credit card of which they already had for I thought I had completed my order. Numerous calls and emails and still no satisfaction. I am sick. Never again will I order online with a credit card. You cannot trust anyone anymore. I have already called my credit card company and if a charge shows up, we will deal with it then.I helped my mom get out of a fraudulent transaction one time. Even went through the Attorney General in the state where they operated. If I buy something, I will pay for it. If I don't, do not try to force feed me.

Proflowers has a scam going on . .that if you don't pay attention you will pay for it when you check out . . .they are double charging for shipping . .they double the charge of 9.99 to 19.98, but they keep it separate so you don't realize it, then they also charge for base delivery, and special handling . . .yeah its a RIPOFF . .and if you call their Customer service they will tell you . ."yes that is what we are charging" and NO there is NO Supervisor who will take your call to complaint. so they are telling you "YES WE ARE RIPPING YOU OFF . .SO ? "

ProFlowers SUCKS

Proflowers, constantly screws up orders. They will mess up address and then send people DEAD flowers. I WILL NEVER USE PROFLOWERS AGAIN. They will also not deliver all that is advertised, that the consumer undoubtly pays for and then won't compensate you correctly for their MESS-UP. I wills tick with 1-800-Flowers. Proflowers is inefficient, it has horrible customer services and their delivery practices are just insanely inefficient. I placed an order with 1-800-Flowers on the same day that I placed 2 orders with Proflowers and the delivery with 1-800-Flowers was ontime, fresh and NO ISSUE AT ALL!! To compare, 1-800-Flowers is who I will go with for now on.

I just received my wife flowers at our office and there was only 22 flowers of 24 and they are ugly as HECK! I called ProFlowers and atleast they are sending another batch tomorrow to make up for the screw up!
