ProFlowers is all that (bad) and more!

I just placed what I thought was an amazing order for my mother in law for Mother's Day with ProFlowers...an order that should have cost 35 dollars ended up with a total of 56 AFTER I confirmed the order. These people are slick. I deleted the order promptly. Here's hoping my visa stays protected...after reading the other posts, I'm more than nervous. I am so glad I just happened to google them. Granted, it was after I placed my order but still in time to delete/cancel it. Be very careful especially since for holidays they have a period where they will not allow you to cancel any orders. If you do order with them, make sure it's with a reputable credit card company. They are generally willing to remove charges that are bogus.

ProFlowers review in Richardson, Texas: Said I could cancel; no place to do so!

I wanted ONLY the Mother's Day special offer. The site said I could cancel after this order. No place was listed for me to do so. I will warn others of this scam to get more money out of the consumer!!! I DO NOT want monthly deductions from my bank for this item!!! If it happens, I will report you to the better business bureau!! I feel your initial advertisement for a discount on flowers for Mother's Day is misleading and I ended up paying twenty dollars more than I expected to. I thought I was getting a "bargain", only to discover I wasn't!! I plan to tell all my friends about this scam!!

ProFlowers review in Culpeper, Virginia: Flower bouquet advertiesed $29.99. but total delivery nearly $50.00. Feel scammed.

We attempted to send our daughter an Easter bouquet last night. Your ad of April 21 on our computer said the bouquet was $29.99. We called and said, okay. But total cost including delivery today was nearly $50.00. You should be up front with all costs and save a lot of frustration. As a consumer,we are more and more scammed by such actions. We have ordered flowers from Pro-Flowers in the past and generally were satisfied. Last night was a big exception because we really wanted to send flowers. However, the final cost almost doubled from the advertised price which left us feeling violated. alreneeheier@verizon.net

ProFlowers review in Bothell, Washington: Fraud Is Ok With PRO-FLOWERS..

Called Pro Flowers regarding fraudulent use of my credit card and the girl (speaking over me)while I was letting her know stated" We will still send the flowers and we will still bill you and we will not return your money" I was astonished! I asked to speak to someone in loss prevention and she said have your bank write to them and then I asked for a supervisor or manager and she said there is no one. I asked are you serious she said nothing. I let her know that I had also called FTD and they were in no way anything like pro flowers. FTD was sorry this had happened stopped the deliveries and refunded all my money. I have used FTD and pro flowers in the past and even though FTD is more expensive I will be using them because they exude customer service. Many of our lawyers, doctors and family use pro flowers but they will no longer. They choose to do business with honest and caring companies.

The exact same thing happened to me. I got flowers from Proflowers.com.

Somebody stole my card information and ordered $60 of flowers on my card. Proflowers was not very helpful but my credict card company is investigating the issue.

ProFlowers & Ezsaver

My currant phone bill was $30.00 higher than it usually was so I made a closer look at the charges and discovered under miscellaneous charges that Ezsaver was charging my account $30.00 for January & February 2011($14.99 for each month that I was a member). I contacted Ezsaver via the number that was next to their name on my phone bill and I was only able to cancel my Membership and get February's charges dismissed. I couldn't get refunded January's because the Customer Representative claimed that the fees for the Membership were clearly stated on the Website where I allegedly signed up. (I never did, but it was my word against hers) I reluctantly agreed to pay for January but clearly was a scam. Now that I read that I'm not the only one they have ripped off, I'm sort of relieved! I had compared FTD to ProFlowers Rates last December for my sisters birthday but decided to go with FTD. Glad I did too! I think that's why my Credit Card wasn't charged. I will NEVER order from ProFlowers! Needless to say, I will be looking at ALL my bills alot closer!

ProFlowers review in Washington, District Of Columbia: Paid for express delivery to Hospital Room

On 3/8/11 I ordered flowers to be delivered to my mom in the hospital. I had her name and hospital room number on the order. I paid extra to have them delivered before 12:00 noon on 3/9/11. At 1:45 pm she hadn't received them. FedEx said they were delivered to shipping & receiving at 10:21 am. S&R said it was out for delivery. ProFlowers is crediting my express shipping, however, I would have ordered from a local florist had I known it went to S&R versus my mother. No more ProFlowers.

im sorry that happened to you.im am also sorry i didnt get your phone call.cust serv reps are supposed to let callers know that we have constant problems delivering to hospital rooms.and you should call back,tell them you didnt get flowers.they will refund all your money

My Son ordered me a Balsam type tree for Christmas adorned with lights. It arrived in a box, basically dead and totally by the end of the week. Called Cus Service , said they would send something else. I got a 'spike' you would plant with your Summer basket, that also on its last legs and dead by weeks end. He spent close to $100 the spike can be bought for $3-4 in the Summer. Though my other Son sent me 'Bulbs' from that company and they bloomed in the spring. Skip this company and save, Live Flowers through the mail just don't survive. Go to your Florist to see what you are actually getting.

ProFlowers review in Los Angeles, California: Flowers were dead and came in a BOX!

The flowers I ordered came in a BOX, yes box, and the recipient had to put together herself!! So much for the excitement of receiving flowers at work. Also the flowers were dead and she had to pick out the petals and leaves that were so dead, they had holes in them. 2 thumbs down for Proflowers. After these flowers were delivered, the recipient asked me why I used ProFlowers because she has also had a bad experience with them in the past. She had sent flowers to a funeral home and it got delivered to the wrong place and it did not even make it on time. The flower business is a referral and word-of-mouth type of business. Proflowers needs to get their act together or will lose more customers. 1800flowers is more expensive, but I've used them many times and have always been satisfied. On time delivery and beautiful flowers as what is advertised.

ProFlowers review in Danbury, Connecticut: Worst flowers I ever bought

I ordered from ProFlowers for Valentines day. I was excited at first, because I was able to get the order in a few days before and felt like I was ahead of the game knowing they wouldbe delivered on V-day. The price for the flowers was pretty cheap, but the pictures they showed on the internet looked good (mistake #1, relying on the pictures). The delivery charge ended up being as much as the flowers -- I thought "geez, that's kind of underhanded", but, oh well, I was getting flowers delivered for $40. Seemed like an OK price, even if they weren't the greatest. I figured I'd get at least grocery store florist quality and they were coming on Valentines day. Well, the price was about $37.50 more than the flowers were worth. Mu wife sent me an email saying "the flowers are beautiful', but that's just cuz she's such a sweetheart. I got home and saw the saddest most ridiculous looking group of multicolor roses there could be. They looked like they were tie dyed. The internet showed a pretty bunch of mixed red, pink, yellow and white rose. In reality they were tattered looking, tiny, roses that were the strangest colrs I've seen. The pedals were ragged and had brown spots. I sent ProFlowers customer service a note telling them how disappointeed I was. They respondedwith some well trained shpeel about how great their flowers are -- I told them otherwise. They never offered to make good on their lousy flowers in any way.

I have to agree with these posts. My bf sent me flowers, strawberries and chocolate for Valentine's Day.

The chocolate came the following day.

The Lucky in Love Bamboo plant he sent to my granddaughter is already dying. I sent an email to ProFlowers and got "I'm sorry but our potted plants have a 14 day guarantee", of course its' been 21 days!!
