ProFlowers review in Albany, New York: Pro-Flowers

My Son ordered me a Balsam type tree for Christmas adorned with lights. It arrived in a box, basically dead and totally by the end of the week. Called Cus Service , said they would send something else. I got a 'spike' you would plant with your Summer basket, that also on its last legs and dead by weeks end. He spent close to $100 the spike can be bought for $3-4 in the Summer. Though my other Son sent me 'Bulbs' from that company and they bloomed in the spring. Skip this company and save, Live Flowers through the mail just don't survive. Go to your Florist to see what you are actually getting.

ProFlowers review in Los Angeles, California: Flowers were dead and came in a BOX!

The flowers I ordered came in a BOX, yes box, and the recipient had to put together herself!! So much for the excitement of receiving flowers at work. Also the flowers were dead and she had to pick out the petals and leaves that were so dead, they had holes in them. 2 thumbs down for Proflowers. After these flowers were delivered, the recipient asked me why I used ProFlowers because she has also had a bad experience with them in the past. She had sent flowers to a funeral home and it got delivered to the wrong place and it did not even make it on time. The flower business is a referral and word-of-mouth type of business. Proflowers needs to get their act together or will lose more customers. 1800flowers is more expensive, but I've used them many times and have always been satisfied. On time delivery and beautiful flowers as what is advertised.

ProFlowers review in Danbury, Connecticut: Worst flowers I ever bought

I ordered from ProFlowers for Valentines day. I was excited at first, because I was able to get the order in a few days before and felt like I was ahead of the game knowing they wouldbe delivered on V-day. The price for the flowers was pretty cheap, but the pictures they showed on the internet looked good (mistake #1, relying on the pictures). The delivery charge ended up being as much as the flowers -- I thought "geez, that's kind of underhanded", but, oh well, I was getting flowers delivered for $40. Seemed like an OK price, even if they weren't the greatest. I figured I'd get at least grocery store florist quality and they were coming on Valentines day. Well, the price was about $37.50 more than the flowers were worth. Mu wife sent me an email saying "the flowers are beautiful', but that's just cuz she's such a sweetheart. I got home and saw the saddest most ridiculous looking group of multicolor roses there could be. They looked like they were tie dyed. The internet showed a pretty bunch of mixed red, pink, yellow and white rose. In reality they were tattered looking, tiny, roses that were the strangest colrs I've seen. The pedals were ragged and had brown spots. I sent ProFlowers customer service a note telling them how disappointeed I was. They respondedwith some well trained shpeel about how great their flowers are -- I told them otherwise. They never offered to make good on their lousy flowers in any way.

I have to agree with these posts. My bf sent me flowers, strawberries and chocolate for Valentine's Day.

The chocolate came the following day.

The Lucky in Love Bamboo plant he sent to my granddaughter is already dying. I sent an email to ProFlowers and got "I'm sorry but our potted plants have a 14 day guarantee", of course its' been 21 days!!

ProFlowers review in Fullerton, California: Girlfriend never receive flowers for Valentines day

I ordered flowers for my girlfriend to sent on Valentines Day. She never received the flowers. I paid the additional charge to get them there by valentines day. When I called pro flowers they told me they would get them that day, the 15th. They told me there was nothing else they could do but reimburse the $14 for the additional delivery. I asked for a supervisor, not even an apology. When I spoke to a supervisor, they told me that the florist had spoken to her and they would get them there the next day. They lied, nobody every spoke to her. I again called to cancel order, and to reimburse my credit card. A week later and still nothing.

ProFlowers review in Portland, Oregon: Dead flowers...

I had received dead orchids for valentine's day. Clearly they didn't think about shipping a plant like that in the cold New England weather since they came to me wilting and falling apart. The person who sent them called to have the mistake fixed and was told that they are out of stock on the Orchids and that he would receive a store coupon. What they didn't mention is that their store coupons are one time use only... and you can only order 1 item at a time... meaning the two smaller items I liked on there I only got one since the site misleads you into thinking you can place multiple orders at once. Overall customer service is lacking and unhelpful and it is a poor site design. Not to mention that the orchids and the second plant I received were dead... Flowers from a gas station would have been a better investment than these things.

poindexter must be a proflowers employee.. they messed up so many shipments this year it's not funny, they are flooding the twitter feed with a giveaway so people don't see all the complaints at once..

Ordered flowers for V-day - they did not deliver and they did not let me know that they did not deliver the flowers that I had ordered. When I called, they said that we will have a supervisor call you back to discuss returning your money. I was told that the florist had just forgot about my order. They said sorry. We can give you a $20.00 credit for a future order - told them that they can keep their $20.00 credit - still waiting on my refund - overpriced flowers - worst customer service - will never order flowers from pro flowers again.

didn't you look at online review for these guys?

all they did was take your order and sent it to a local florist. the local florist got more money from local orders and yours went to the bottom of the pile

if you want revenge: look for their google pay per click ads (the ones that say sponsored or have a box that says 'ad' click on those once per day) and tell your friends to do the same

ProFlowers review in Seekonk, Massachusetts: Flowers from Pro Flowers were nice

I have thanked my daughter for the last 5 days for the flowers she sent me from Pro Flowers, they are absolutely breath taking. The buds were still not quite open when I got them on Feb 14th, and today is Friday Feb. 18th and they are stunning. I would recommend Pro Flowers to anyone, i wish I had a picture phone for my daughter to see the beautiful arrangement I received. This Valentine's day was very memorable, actually these flowers are from my grandson. I went out for dinner for Valentin'e day but this gift was better.

ProFlowers review in Peabody, Massachusetts: Agreed...Pro Flowers was a bad choice

When I got my V-day flowers, I thought to myself, "Oh, hubby decided to save money this year -- that's good, I guess." I assumed that the flowers cost between $10-15 dollars. They looked like they were picked by the roadside of your average American highway. After V-day's had passed, I talked to hubby about them and he told me he paid $50 for them. Wow. Not only were they very pedestrian and resembled flowering weeds (aka the "wildflower" look)...but some of the flowers were damaged, and of course they didn't last long at all. Bad experience. I feel bad for hubby, who spent a lot of money and got such a bad value for his money. Don't go with Pro Flowers -- you're better off paying the same money to a trusted florist in your area.

that proflowers and their related companies are the worst in the business, you can't get decent flowers delivered for $19 just as you can't get real chocolate strawberries for that price. they use scams like easy saver and dozens of fees at checkout to make up the low advertised price.

Every time I see the phrase "trusted local florist" I know who really wrote it : a florist, and chances are that that same florist fills orders for proflowers...

ProFlowers Big Misake

I ordered Flowers for my girlfriend on Valentines day. I spent $105 on two dozen of roses, a teddy bear, and a vase. I had a promo code for a free vase, so i should have gotten two because i bought an extra vase for $25. When the roses arrived half of them where near death. The advertisement for this special said it would be long stem , big, full roses. These were dead, and the tiniest roses i have ever seen. They didn't send me my free vase, and basically lied about the package. I will never again use this company.

At least flowers showed up for you'all. My girlfriend never got hers.

But i still got a e mail saying they were delivered. The delivery notification said they were left on "porch". WHAT!! They were to be delivered to her work, ay a elementary school.

She is the principle. Anybody there knows who she is. Even the kids.

And you mean to tell me they left a dozen red roses, in a vase, on valentines day, ON A PORCH??? Unacceptable!
