Do not do business with Proflowers

I am no longer doing business with Proflowers, the online flower/bouquet delivery service. The discount I was suppose to receive was never computed into the final total. Although the order pages kept reporting, 'discount computed on final page'. Or similar verbiage. Evidently the business hopes that you will not recognize the non-discount on the screen-packed final order page. Additionally, this company does not include either shipping or 'handling' costs until the final check-out screen. One should determine that the final cost will be about twice of the initial quoted price. I also believe that the usual three dollar 'handling' charge is excessive. Future Proflower messages will now automatically drop into my email spam folder.

What a rip off | ProFlowers review from Reston, Virginia

I tried to cancel the order within 5 minutes of ordering due to the huge amount of processing and delivery fees, which was about 45% of the price of the flowers What a ripoff. Any how, I tried to cancel the order within 5 minutes, but couldn't because I didn't cancel in time. Are they kidding me. I emailed their Customer Service, several times, and finally was told that in the disclaimer it stated that I couldn't cancel if I ordered after 2/7/10, even if I canceled within 5 minutes of ordering. That's just poor business decision. I could understand if I waited 24 hrs of ordering, but this was literally within 5 minutes.

This is a total ripoff. So many charges that are hidden.

They make you enter all the details before they show you the final amount which three times what I had in my mind. There is a shipping charge, Valentine's day shipping charge, Handing, tax, card, blah blah.

Their advertisement only says $19.99 for flowers. I wud say, filthy tricks they play on people emotions.

I notice that you've got ProFlowers ads on your website, so I wonder if this will even post, but here goes. My hope is to save other people the heartache that results from the lousy products this company puts out. I sent my mom and mother-in-law what I thought were going to be beautiful arrangements of tulips in a cute little metal bucket. What arrived were green stalks with no flowers. I'm going to attach a picture and the plate underneath the plant was placed there to capture leaking water. The other plant looked even worse and it was interesting that these were delivered to two different states. Save your money and your happy relations with relatives and use anyone else for your flower needs. ProFlowers is terrible!

ProFlowers not pros

I hope I can save people from a Valentine's fiasco. I ordered Proflowers for two delivers, one for Mom and one for my mother-in-law. What a mistake! I ordered potted tulips, colorful and attractive in the picture. What both moms got was a tin bucket with a *** in it. They sent me pictures and the "arrangements" were downright ugly. Instead of conveying, "I love you," the delivery said something like "I wish you were dead." Each was sent to a different state, so didn't even come from the same florist. Don't waste your money and cause ill feelings.

As we approach Valintines day, I would caution flower buyers about PRO FLOWERS com.... their main page shows many very nicely priced items...but by the time you get through many pages of "check this" and "check that" ***, you find your $30 item is not maybe $45 or way more. You get charged for the vase (even tho the page says it's free.. it's really just a "discounted price"..what a lie! There there is the delivery charge and then there is the handling fee...and then the tax and then.........Lord only knows what. I would not recommend this site...unless you realize the price posted on the 'suck them in page' is no where near what you will pay on the Last page! This was an example of decitiful advertising at it's worst!

I had the same experience. The page that displayed the pricing and charges said $34.99 but when I went to make the payment it was close to $52.

They added a bunch of other charges. They also do it in a very deceptive way. They put all the additional charges toward the end of the page in the lower right hand side and it is all grayed out. The "Confirm Payment" button is at the top of the page and is in full color.

Not sure why the used this tactic as it only creates a 1 time shopper. The whole idea of a website is to keep people coming back, not getting angry because they are getting deceived.

Yes, ProFlowers charges $18.00 for delivery, $5 to have them delivered on 2/14, and if you want your flowers delivered before noon you can add in another $15. Then add in $3 as a handling and Care charge....

Really? Shouldn't that be part of the 'delivery' fee(s)? And, of course, another $2 to have a card on the flowers to say whom they are from.

Really ProFlowers? It's just not right...

I also ordered the Valentines special , a vase and flowers for 19.99. My 19.99 order ended up being over $46.00.

I tried to cancel but that was impossible. I emailed them several times, I wanted to cancel because I was charged 12.99 for a vase.

Pro Flowers should be sued in court for false and misleading advertising. I don't believe customer satisfaction is their goal.

Yes and Yes to all you had to post.OMG by the time my Husband was done it cost 98.00 I could of had a lot more flowers for that kind of money...I`m hear people on the radio talk about them all the time so we thought we would use them and were very sorry we did ...I`m still mad about it ...You see I LOVE flowers. And we will never use PRO FLOWERS AGAIN...Wish we would have come to this wed sooner my flowers came yesterday ..Not that Impressed with the flowers ..Thanks for letting me VENT....Have a good V-Day anyway...

PROFLOWERS..Should be POS flowers

Proflowers $ucko! I tried to send my friend some flowers and they didn't include the card!!! She had to WORK to find out who they came from and why and got read the card over the phone (Oh how touching). I complained to POS flowers and they said they would credit me $5.00 fn dollars for the card. It wasn't about the card, it was about ruining a nice jester. I will never use these m-frs again. I was a Victim to their Pro Flowers Scam I just noticed the 14.95 US charges to my husbands credit card every month for the past 12 months. I sent my cousin Flowers for forgetting he birthday. Our exchange rate is $ 6.48 TT to $1.00 US see i live in Trinidad in the Caribbean. That is almost a $100.00 dollars a month this as added to destroying my husbands Credit Limit. I am forced to seek help with any legal actions seeing that I did not sign up for any membership it was a one time purchase.

ProFlowers.com "” First the good: custumer service is friendly. The bad: poor quality flowers - flower arive in poor shape and will only last a few days. The really bad: they sign you up for "memberships" to "clubs" like supersaver.com and freeshipping.com. They then charge you monthly fees for your membership! These "memberships" offer little in the way of benifits. The supersaver membership provides $15 savings from initial purchase, but then costs $15 per month! Beware - proflowers practices deceitful advertising - when they offer you a savings or free shipping; they are actually trying to trick you into becoming a member of one of these clubs! BEWARE!!!

I expected to present my wife with a beautiful array of flowers. Instead, she received a box of mostly dead, unopened pods.

Those that are opening are woefully unpresentable as flowers. Even if the pods were to open and look healthy, the group would not be half of what was displayed in your advertisement. I feel deceived. I will never use Pro Flowers again.

I will tell everyone I know who has occasion to use a florist of the poor quality merchandise presented by Pro Flowers. You are despicable!

Pro Flowers took my order and my money and did not deliver the product I ordered. The second day I called and they told me they did not know why it did not ship (cupcakes for my daughter's weekend hosts) Told me they sent an e-mail of a replacement delivery (which I never received). The hosts never received it either, whatever it was. ProFlowers could not tell me what the substitution was. Does not seem to be a very reliable company. A Huge dissappointment! My daughter was a guest for the weekend at a friends house 5 hours away and we wanted to extend a little appreciation. Now we are empty-handed.

Ripped me off! | ProFlowers review from Seal Beach, California

I filmed 3 commercials for Proflowers.com and they did not pay me per contract! The contract is dated November 3,2010 and as of January 7, 2011, they still have not paid me. They say the check is in the mail, along with many excuses why it never is. The last email states "it's being sent over night express" Two days later, and still no check! Shame on Proflowers.com for using my services, signing a contract for payment due, and then lying over and over again about how someone in accounting goofed up, and then how someone in payroll dropped the ball. Enough already!
