ProFlowers review in Maynard, Massachusetts: Use a local florist instead for a bigger WOW factor.

Although I rarely order flowers for my wife, I decided to do so this Valentine's day after hearing about Proflower's specials on the radio. Usually I'd called a local florist who are near my wife's place of employment and they would deliver them....great. With Proflowers I thought I'd get a better deal... but by the time you add shipping, and pay their "care and handling" fee, I ended up paying just as much as I would pay locally...and that was with delivery 4 days before the holiday! Holiday delivery fees were much higher. (And there's no way I'm going to join some buying club just to get a rebate on the shipping fee.) Anyway, I ordered them on Monday for Thursday delivery. They were not delivered until Friday via Fedex. (The local florist would always deliver on the scheduled day). Flowers were delivered in a cardboard box... not the most attractive presentation (and a far cry from the beautiful presentation the local florist provides). And the flowers were not yet open. Proflowers likes to advertise that by shipping the flowers before they open, they last longer. Maybe true, but do you think my wife was proudly showing off a bunch of unopened buds to her coworkers? She just left them in the box and brought them home. (By way of contrast, the local florist would deliver a fresh flower arrangement that look beautiful from day one). In conclusion, Proflowers didn't provide the bargain the advertisements promised... even with the "special offer code." I will not use them again, but stick with a local florist, so future deliveries will have that WOW factor you pay for. Unopened flowers delivered a day late in a cardboard box... no thanks.

Three strikes and ProFlowers is now out
My son was nice enough to send me a dozen roses on Valentine's Day. After several hours, it was clear the flowers were dying. I called and a "customer service representative" told me the sender had to call with any complaints. This, of course, is embarrassing,...

ProFlowers review in Harmony, Pennsylvania: Beware of Bait and Switch

I ordered flowers well before valentines day at price of 29.99 and added a card for 1.99. I was curious to why i had never seen a dollar amount of these items. My credit card was not billed until the day of delivery and when I seen the charge it was for $96. When i called to complain they told me I was wrong and that that package was 69.99, i was also charged 15.00 for shipping 6 bucks for tax, and a 3 dollar handling fee. Needless to say the company never did anything for me after I complained and I also put in a complaint to the BBB. This is not how you do business, and all consumers should be aware of their cons.

These clowes run national ads knowing the inventory was bogus. I have several friends in different geography's who said the national ad special was "out".

And a $15 delivery fee PLUS a $20 holiday delivery fee? Are you kidding me?

Shame on me but never again.

And the flowers that did show? AWFUL AND DIED IN 3 DAYS!!!!!!!!!!

This is amazing. For the 3rd year in a row, Proflowers does not deliver my flowers on time or at all. Last year (2009), I called after paying a special rate to get a delivery by a certain date and the florist showed up to my doorstep at 9pm on the day of the...

ProFlowers review in Baltimore, Maryland: Pro Flower does not deliver on time maybe not at all!!!!!!!

I ordered a dozen roses with extras from Pro Flowers on 2/10, for delivery on Saturday 2/13. It is now 2/14 noon and still no flowers. I spoke with customer service Saturday at 6:30pm and was told to wait till 8:00pm no delivery. I called again this morning at 8:00am and was told they would refund my shipping charges, I still have not received the flowers and now customer service is not answering the phones. I guess they are dealing with all their happy customers. DO NOT ORDER FROM PRO FLOWERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Use your local flower shop.

I agree .. we had flowers coming on 2/13 and the customer service said it was a Fedex problem.

They only offered shipping refund. A month ago with no snow on the ground same thing.

Not worth the worry, I agree call a local shop! :cry

ProFlowers Never Delivered

ProFlowers ruined my Valentine's Day. They failed to deliver my PREPAID flowers for my wife and my six-year-old daughter... the love of my life. They offered to refund the shipping charges (only) for flowers delivered AFTER Valentine's Day that had been sitting on a freezing truck for four days. What JERKS! They advertise 24-hour customer service, but wouldn't even tell me how they intended to cheat me until I'd sent 10 emails over the course of 36 hours. (I'm deaf, so I couldn't call, which I'm sure they appreciated). I guarantee they'll get none of my money and the Attorney General's Office will hear about these scammers!

Proflowers gave my credit info to easy saver rewards billed 14.95

Ordered from proflowers. On checkout when got to info that I would be billed for the free shipping, I backed out and started over. No free shipping but charged a month later for 14.95 for easy saver rewards. Am pissed at easy saver and proflowers for being part of the scam. No more proflowers orders for me. I have not been able to get in touch with easy saver and I know nothing about their paren company Encore. Will research it more later. I cannot believe that proflowers continues to be associated with them. I am trying to do all that I can to get proflowers to dissassociate.

ProFlowers review in Miami, Florida: Delivered only eleven roses- not twelve!!!!!

I ordered a dozen red roses and upon delivery there was ONLY ELEVEN red roses and I was CHARGED for a dozen. ISN'T a dozen TWELVE???? I WILL NEVER USE YOUR COMPANY AGAIN!!! I could have went to my local supermarket and gotten a dozen roses and recieved all 12 flowers, exactally what I paid for, even a roadside vendor would not "RIP" you off, especially here at Valentines Day! And the quality of the roses are "POOR" several of them have black tips on the pedals upon arrival. YOU SUCK PRO FLOWERS!!!! YOU SHOULD CHANGE YOUR NAME TO "PO FLOWERS" that would be more suitable for the quality of flowers and count.YOU SUCK< YOU SUCK!!!!!

record, UKMan, since you're clearly such a "grammar whiz", there should be a comma after "remember the little rule", not a period, and also, the word "But" never starts a new sentence! However, you're from UK, so you we have to make allowances! ;

Pity the complainant can't spell or even use grammar. You can't 'went' to the supermarket but you could have 'gone' there.

Received is spelt wrong.....remember the little rule.

i before e except after c. But I guess he's American so you have to make allowances ;-)

I checked my bank account and saw a fee from proflowers that I never made and they refused to help me with my claim. This Company is irresponsible they will let charges go through if you are experiancing fraud on your account and when you call them you deal with rude and unprofessional people that give you the run around. Watch out for this company they tell you that they will take care of it and that you have to talk to your bank it would have probably been easier to cancel the order than explain to them I am going through fraud.
