ProFlowers review in Columbia, South Carolina: Unauthorized charges

I ordered flowers through pro flowers and boom all I can see is charges to my card for easysaver which I did not knowingly sign up for. I tried to contact to cancel and could not get a response from the number provided. Needless to say they billed me for two months before I finally got my credit card company involved in reversing the charges. I think that they are unscrupulus and that they are also linked with proflowes. I will not order from them again and am warning all my friends to be very wary of the all, unscurpulous business dealings.

I was looking at gift baskets at Cherry moon farm. My sister in law passed away, and I wanted to send something to my brother. remember I was just looking. Later l went into my checking account and guess what I was billed $14.95 for Easysaver. They are going to be reported for sure what a scam. yes, I have ordered from Cherry moon before but I never authorized them to sign me up for easy saver. No one has money to just give away. beleive me I will settle this, and call every radio, tv and media I can

Just found out where Cherry Moon Farms did this to me as well. I know I didn't sign up for Easy Saver Rewards.

I am so disappointed. I had planned to order some more baskets from them, but not now!!!

Proflowers a rip off!

I registered for the pro-flowers discount and then cancelled my easy savers membership on their website immediately. They still charged 14.95 to my account 3 times after cancelling. Now 45 dollars later I discover that they have been charging my account for the last 3 months. I've learned a valuable lesson and I've realized that I need to check my statement a lot more closely in the future. I won't be contacting a lawyer about this matter because I'd rather clamp my nuts in a vice instead of getting mixed up with a lawyer. What I will do is tell ten people that Pro-flowers is a rip-off and I'll never use their service again.

Proflowers = Horrible Service

Ordered Mother's Day flowers from Proflowers, and I chose the option to receive delivery 'On or before Mother's Day'. No flowers arrived by Mother's Day but I got an email from them apologizing for non-delivery. They went on to say that, with my permission, they could deliver the flowers on the following Tuesday, two days AFTER Mother's Day. I told them by email and phone to send my $90 back. I found out later that they flowers they sell arrive in a box, delivered by UPS, and the vase comes in a second box. Can you imagine sending flowers to your mother/wife/girlfriend and she has to assemble everything from the shipping cartons? Totally un-freaking-acceptable. Never again.......

May 10th was My Mom's Birthday and MOther's day. I ordered her flowers early and for delivery on Saturday rather than Sunday, as I know that "things can happen". I didn't want ANYTHING to go wrong with this order. After all, at age 80 how many more REALLY special birthdays is she going to have.

I live in California and Mom in Massachusetts. Illness kept me away from flying out and from my bed I called through the morning. by early afternoon I called Proflowers. The customer service representative was attentive but could not assist me. The order had been rescheduled for Monday ! No reason...except, "we hire small companys in each area and maybe they only worked until 12:00p. The Rep apologized profusely and added, "What would you like us to do". I explained again, tearfully, what this meant to me and the response was definitive.

If anyone reads this...take heed DO NOT USE PROFLOWERS for anything of importance. the dissappointment is not worth it. I was only offered a refund when I asked for it. What a lack of sensitivity.

Ripped off by Proflowers

Thought I was doing something nice for my mother for Easter, and purchased flowers for her. Next thing I know I have a 1.95 charge, then the next month it was 9.95 and 14.95. I am requesting all charges reversed. My bank is working with me on this. Then to top it off, I never got the free vase I was supposed to get as a special gift for my flower purchase. Never again will I order from Proflowers. So sad you think you are doing something nice for someone, and in the background there are thieves waiting to pounce

When I received the flowers on Friday to give to my wife for mother's day, they arrived totally different than what was advertised. Not only that - the petals started falling off on Saturday morning!!!!

The next day!!! By Sunday morning, all the roses were withered and dead.

Never again will I use Pro Flowers!!! NEVER!!!

PROFLOWERS.COM IS A SCAM

Whatever you do do not order flowers online through proflowers.com. They are a scam and use 100% bait and switch advertising to lure the consumer in. Their discounts do not apply and when you call to discuss problems you are having with the website they tell you " I'm sorry but our prices fluctuate minute to minute". But log in under guest and prices stay the same. Not to mention there shipping cost are more than the flowers themselves!! It is to bad but companies like PROFLOWERS.COM is why internet commerce gets a bad wrap. Shame on you PROFLOWERS.COM!! You will get yours soon enough.

No Bloom for ProFlowers

I ordered "fresh" roses to be deliveres to MOM for Mother's Day. Be aware: #1. If I had wanted them delivered in a box (via UPS with the vase seperate for Mom to "arrange herself" at her job and "just add water"), I would have purchaed elsewhere and brought them to her myself. #2. Since when did UPS or FedEx start using "refrigerated" trucks to deliver "fresh" flowers??......They don't. If I had known they would have been in a box in the back of a HOT truck in Houston, TX, I wouldn't have given them my money. #3. You are required to give all credit card/billing information before getting the total amount due. After selecting the rose "special" (advertised from internet to radio to TV) for $19.99, upon "checkout", this company still charges the "regular" price of $29.99 no matter what. NICE flagrant bait and switch!!! Next time I'll be sure to stick with my local florist for all my future floral needs. For the amount of $$$ we pay for fresh-cut flowers, taking the time to make a phone call to your local florist will result in a more personal, FRESH, flower delivery for my Mom, wife, girlfriend, etc. Thanks but NO THANKS to a "get-rich" on-line flower supplier.

I used proflowers.com because it was highly endorsed by a few radio talk show hosts that I trust (i.e., Michael Savage & Rush Limbaugh). By the way, their "promotional codes" were useless to me as a consumer, and only benefitted them as "listener points". To express my...

Hi Jonathan,It can be confusing the neubmr of claims being made that the world is warming / isn’t warming and that’s because the issue has become somewhat divided, often for partisan reasons. No doubt what you’ve been taught in school is correct. If a school were to knowingly misteach it’s pupils then it faces prosecution.

Global warming has actually been on trial several times in courts of law and on every occasion the Judge has ruled that the facts and science behind global warming are accurate. Those who don’t accept global warming is happening don’t have an argument against the theory. Instead they have used more than 100 different excuses ranging from claims that the world is cooling, that Margaret Thatcher invented global warming, that it’s because Earth is moving closer to the Sun – all manner of unrelated claims. In your question you mention that you’ve learned that a lot of people are against the idea of global warming. In reality there’s not that many. It’s broadly accepted the world over, the only notable exception being the US where it is more of a political issue than a scientific one.If you look at global warming scientifically then there’s no question that it’s happening.

No doubt you were taught that greenhouse gases retain heat in the atmosphere and that the more of them there are the more heat is retained. What you may not have been taught is the mechanism by which these gases retain heat, this is something that is governed by the laws of quantum mechanics. You may think that it would be pointless to try and argue against the theory of gravity, and you’d be right to do so. But it’s even more pointless to argue against the laws of quantum mechanics. Not only are these laws universal and invariable, but they’re the most powerful and successful of all scientific laws.

Trying to argue against them really is futile – not that it doesn’t stop some people claiming there’s no such thing as global warming.Because the science is so solid, it’s no surprise then that there isn’t a single scientific organisation on the planet that disputes the theory of manmade global warming. So instead, what we’re left with are a neubmr of uncoordinated, unscientific, and largely uninformed individuals who, often for personal reasons, object to the notion that the world is warming and we, as humans, are having a hand in it.It’s very telling that those who argue against the theory NEVER address the issue as a whole, instead they focus on the minutiae and on the distortion of reality. By adopting this technique it’s possible to ‘disprove’ anything.

Take gravity for example, if it existed then trees would grow downwards not upwards, water could never evaporate, birds and planes would crash to the ground, the atmosphere would be sucked down to Earth not up in the sky, Earth would compress itself into a tiny ball etc etc. This is an example of the style of argument used by those who reject the theory of global warming. They latch on to an illogical argument and run with it, steadfastly refusing to acknowledge their own ignorance and basically doing everything they can to avoid exposure to anything that opposes their fallacy.

Proflowers Flowers

Proflowers Not Forthcoming.

I ordered flowers and paid for Saturday delivery to coincide with my wife's birthday. No problem when I ordered. Flowers did not arrive. Called next day and found that UPS did not deliver on Saturday and that Proflowers knew about it but took my money (including an additional 20 dollars per order for Saturday delivery) and shipped the flowers anyway. So my wife got no flowers on her birthday and proflowers gives me the raspberry for not getting the flowers to my wife. We'll see how long it takes them to refund my money. Long story short. Had I known that they mislead me into believing they would deliver on time then I could have been able to order from FTD or 1-800 flowers or go get some from a florist locally. The point was to have flowers for my wife. They screwed me.

Don't feel too bad. ProFlowers just did the same thing to me! I ordered flowers to be delivered to my daughter's office today (her birthday), & they screwed up the order FOUR times - FOUR!

The special was $19.99 for 12 roses + a box of dark chocolates. Then they started adding on "fees" - the total was $41.00+, so I said "No way." The next day, they sent me another email apologizing and offering me an additional $10 off. I set up the order & paid a more reasonable price.

In the order confirmation, they promised to deliver the flowers on 5.11.10 - by 5pm. But her office closes at 4pm. They tried to make me pay another $10 fee to make sure they'd arrive by 4pm.

After yet another fuss, they agreed to deliver the flowers on 5.11.10, before her office closed.

Then I checked my bank online - and they'd charged me TWICE for these flowers! I called my bank; they said to call ProFlowers & direct them to call the bank and release the second charge. I called them, but they REFUSED to call my bank, claiming the extra charge would "drop off" in few days!

Today I checked my bank online, and both of the charges were gone. I contacted ProFlowers, and they sent me a scripted response saying that my order had been CANCELLED!

So now I have no flowers for my daughter's birthday. I've added a warning against ProFlowers into my email signature. Every single email I send out will warn folks against using these *** artists.
