ProFlowers review in Las Vegas, Nevada: Easy Saver & Pro Flowers Scam

This is the scam they are pulling--they lure you in with a coupon to buying more flowers and when you click on it--you are signed up by putting in your zip. One would think that with my montly $14.95 charge, I would get mail or an email telling me about the benefits and discounts that my money is buying. I received nothing-- Below is the bull-email that I got from ProFlowers. "Thank you for contacting us. We really appreciate your feedback in the EasySaver Rewards program and I am so sorry for your poor experience. Rest assured, we take your comments seriously, and we are on your side. Let me take a moment to just summarize the program enrollment. After you make a purchase on our site, we offer a $15 coupon. If you click on that coupon you will land on a registration page to join our EasySaver program. In order to enroll and receive the coupon, you must enter your email address and zip code which is the acceptance of the terms and conditions of the program. Within the terms stated to the left of the "accept" button, is the enrollment process and states the charge of the program. Our goal is not to have you in the program if you did not wish to enroll and we apologize if this was confusing. If you have not already done so and would like to cancel this membership, feel free to call EasySaver Rewards directly at 1-800-355-1837 and simple instructions will be provided to you to cancel and refunded. We totally understand your frustration and will attempt to clarify the enrollment process for future customers. To follow up, I am going to forward your valuable comments to our partner group that oversees the program. Our customer experience is of the utmost importance and we will do anything to improve your future shopping experiences. Once again, we apologize for your poor experience and we are here to help in any other way necessary. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us. We are available for you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week."

Heard all over radio and ordered a week before Valentines day. The special was a One Dozen Long Stemmed Red Roses w/FREE Ruby Vase for $39.99 and FREE SHIPPING.

Turns out, Valentines day was on Saturday $9.99 - Saturday delivery, Standard Express Delivery - $12.99. Taxes - $5.43. So total was $68.40!!! The FREE SHIPPING was actually a REBATE from a company proflowers.com hired...and they wanted me to enter my credit card info on their site also?

They (proflowers.com) failed to mention the free shipping was actually to rebate the $12.99. I have not stopped receiving spam from that company (EasySaver Rewards) since. Proflowers.com also gave them my credit card and charged me for their membership. I called Discover right away (what a big help - class act).

So, the order cost me $68.40 x 2 when advertised as $39.99. I am an ***, ordered 2! So now 2x the charge. You can forget about that rebate, would be caught in a bear trap!

You talk about a scam!

Oh, and flowers were frost bitten (black tips) and turned down the next day. I ended up going to my local florist and picked up a dozen Long Stems for $70.00.

I to have been scammed, just from ordering flowers from pro-flowers, a company called oncore marketing international, along with pro-flowers, have been deducting $14.95 a month out of my account since september 25th, 2007. I just caught this friday, october 3rd, 2008, why I didn't catch it sooner, is my fault, they say this is for something called "easy-saver rewards", news to me, but yet they got my money, and I see nothing in return, this is a big scam, and they need to be stopped, whoever reads this please contact clarkhoward.com and he will put a stop to this, the more complaints to clark, the better chance we have of getting our money back...

Proflowers SCAMS with

How dare Proflowers make the following statement "flowers delivered fresher than from florists." This statement has no credibility when in fact Proflowers is not even a florist!!! They are merely hired, noneducated phone order gatherers!! Yeah, fresher flowers alright....from a box???? The worst part is they actually get the order from the unsuspecting customer, pay additional amounts for hidden fees, and then send your order (minus thier cut) to a local florist in the delivery area. How does that make the flowers fresher? I am appalled that the government allows this. Why should you have to pay more and get less? Not to mention lost of false promises of how wonderful your order will be..HA...look around the internet and you will see just how "fresh" the arrangements are..NOT!

Proflowers easy saver rip off

i am just starting to deal with this and am embarassed to say i only half noticed this random $14.95 Easy Saver charge that meant nothing to me. i kept meaning to look into it but was always too busy and have been getting ripped off now for several months. I am still hopeful perhaps my bank will address. it's insane rip off and i never signed up for anything at all. I can't believe Proflowers does this and will of course, never use them again. Which was unfortunate because my godmother liked the flowers -- but not for $75 or $89more than i had authorized!

I have had nothing but wonderful experiences with Proflowers.com. Once I had something delivered to my B-I-L.

Silly me gave the wrong address. Immediately I was called by a rep and they sent another package to the correct address the next day for no charge.

I think the person who mistakenly recieved the first package got to keep it as well!

I only send gifts through proflowers.com now!

Beware of Fraud from Proflowers !

Proflowers is an active participant in a scam/fraud…….. Proflowers uses misleading and unethical advertising practices that end up charging your credit card a monthly ongoing charge when you click on the free shipping offer or $10 off offers. It is VERY deceptive and done ON PURPOSE. I recently ordered some flowers for my wife for her birthday from Proflowers.com. A couple of months later I realized that I was being charged $14.95 a month from something called EasySaver…. Proflowers signed me up for this bogus/fraud money saver club thing. When I emailed Proflowers, I was told that I agreed to be signed up when I purchased the flowers. I really did not see this coming from what I thought was a legitimate business. I will NEVER buy from Proflowers again and no one else that I know will either... I will see to that.

Yes, I am pissed!!!! The $19.99 special I ordered from them, ended up almost costing me $60.00!!!

Those Ponsi scheme bastards charged me for things I did not even order!!!! Plus, you never know your what your total is until AFTER YOU HAVE ALREADY PAID WITH YOUR CREDIT CARD...This is outrageous!! No wonder they are crooks..They are owned by Direct TV, I just found out.

We used to have them, but they have very bad business practices as well. These are 2 companies we should all avoid at every cost.

dt :(

They advertise free shipping yet you have to pay $14 a month for a service you may not use. I wrote ProFlowers a letter complaining about this.

I never heard back from them.

I generally like ProFlowers but this is a shady bait and switch type move. "Free" shipping is not free if you have to buy something else to get it.

ProFlowers/EasySaverRewards complaint

This also happened to me and because of this website I was able to call ProFlowers and cancel. When speaking with a ProFlowers rep I acknowledged the fact that ProFlowers is a reputable company so why would they be associated with something like this and how could they just link over my personal credit card information. She explained that by entering in my email address and zip code that authorized my information and signed me up. I explained that I had noticed a website with complaints and why would they allow themselves to be connected to this company and their only reply was that they didn’t have enough complaints to no longer have association with EasySaver Rewards but told me that I had two options. To contact EasySaver Rewards or have them do it. So, I had ProFlowers do the extra work and the next day I received a phone call from them saying that they had cancelled it. Thank you to all of you that posted because if I had not done a search I would have never known and would have ended up with the same charges.

Don't give ProFlowers too much credit. They will cancel the membership but not refund your money.

If ProFlowers was behaving like a reputable company they wouldn't be giving our credit card numbers to a third party in the first place. They would also disclose you'll be charged monthly fees for giving your email to them. Thats absurd. Here's my email that gives your company license to scam me for buying flowers.

Don't even deal with them at all. I give my email out all the time and don't get ripped off for it.

ProFlowers will scam your credit card and make it sounfd legitimate. Buyer beware.

ProFlowers review in Essex, Missouri: I am outraged

I can't believe that all I did was order a bouquet of flowers for my mom before Mother's day through proflowers.com and applied (through a 3rd party website) to get a rebate on my shipping, then to find out all of a sudden I'm in this "club" charging me $14.95 every month! This has gone on since May 08 and it's Sept and I just realized they are doing this behind my back. I have also rec'd overdrafts from my bank at $35.00 a pop! I just composed a stern, but professional letter to Easy Saver customer service and plan on doing a follow up call tomorrow morning. They WILL cancel this "membership" immediately and the WILL give me all my money back - period. I can't believe this - I am shaking my head that this has happened to a lot of other innocent people too. Unbelieveable.

ProFlowers review in Tampa, Florida: Unauthorized billing on credit card

I noticed a charge on one of my credit cards for 1.95. At first, I thought it was a short billed item on a purchase that I had made. Now, when I check online, I see that a charge of $14.95 has been charged for the current month. I have no idea who these people are and decided to check on google. I bought flowers some time online and can't imagine this billing is from Proflowers. Thanks for the insight!!!! I will do what I have to. Its important to write this so that others can view the dishonesty of these people.

Proflowers Easy Saver Scam

I too was taken by the Pro-Flowers Easy Saver scenario. I noticed the charge after I had paid my credit card off, then got this miscellaneous looking charge. I called the number and they said around mothers day (the busiest flower buying season of the year) they basically slipped the language in and lots of people accepted, not noticing. I am disappointed in proflowers for the way they handled it. I've been buying flowers with them for years and it feels like they were being sneaky. I will definately think twice before buying flowers from them the next time!!
