Small bouquet instead of a full bouquet of flowers sent on Mothers Day!!!!!

First of all these flowers were sent in a box to pre assemble. The bouquet was very tiny, nothing like the picture! I went over to my mothers house and found them in a box. My mother is ninety years old so I assembled them for her. What ever happened to a delivery man ringing the door bell to hand someone a bouquet of flowers????? Really?? In a box??? Is this how they do it now? I see Pro flowers has a bad feedback for scamming people. I paid a total of 22.00 in JUST delivery fees and it was delivered on a Saturday, not even Mothers day!!!!!!! I thought I would try someone different because of the pictures of the flowers were beautiful. The flowers RECEIVED were just awful and sooooo very few! SCAMMERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BAD COMPANY TO ORDER FLOWERS FROM. NO GOOD FEEDBACKS AT ALL! ------ NEVER AGAIN!----------- $56.00 WAISTED!

It arrives UPS or Fedex, how do you think they will come? You can't ship water. If you wanted a local florist you should have called one.

Proflowers - Flowers Review from Hays, Kansas

Seen an ad for Morhers Day flowers $19.99 and free shipping. Went the the website ordered the flowers authorized $19.99 thru my PayPal account and waited for the flowers. Shortly after placing my order i get a notification from PayPal that I authorized $44.20 to ProFlowers. I emailed Proflowers and requested a cancellation due to the unauthorized purchase price. They email back that they can not cancel. I filed a complaint with Paypal and was told by them that Proflowers does not participate with thier resolution policy. Flowers came and they are half dead. I will make sure nobody I know ever wastes time or money at Proflowers.

Beware Pro Flowers ~Poor Quality of Product and Service

I ordered a very expensive orchid plant from Pro Flowers as a thank you gift for a high end client that has given me hundreds of dollars of business. At the time of the call I was assured the plant would have a good ratio of buds and blooms. (Once bloomed the plant will not produce more buds until a new stem grows the following growth season.) It arrived, had only 4-5 buds left on on the entire plant, it has usually over 30-30 blooms. Called to reorder per their 100% satisfaction guarantee, once again reassured the plant would arrive with a better ratio, this time the plant had absolutely NO BUDS whatsoever! On top of that one of the stems of the plant was broke, due to poor packaging and no Up arrows for UPS to know how to position the box~ I was told by the 1st call center supervisor I would receive a call within 24 hours, I also told the supervisor that I wanted a call placed to the warehouse manager to ask that they take a photo of the next plant to be delivered so I would be assured of the quality, and was told they did not know who the warehouse mgr was and that they could not possibly fulfill my request. i EXPLAINED i WAS RUNNING OUT OF TIME and needed help asap and wanted this next plant to be the quality I was paying for.He became very curt and he put me back through to the original call center order taker, and I was told the plant was to be reordered.I got a text as she was finishing her verbiage, got distracted and didn't get a new order number, as she did not offer to give me one. So called back, got another call center, was told they did not see any reorder info, spoke with that call center's supv and was told I would receive a call between 24-48 hours, STILL have not heard back. As I explained to supv #2, the 1st supv LIED to me to get off the phone quickly, I'm sure, but should have told me the truth that it would be 24-48 hrs. Throughout both calls I was even voiced, pleasant and never rude. I decided to go online to get the corporate headquarter's phone number and lo and behold found their website with an enormous number of negative feed back regarding Pro Flower's quality and lack of customer service! Then went back to my google search and found this website, so glad I did! I'm sick to my stomach that I have wasted literally over two weeks of waiting for the quality I paid for and in the meantime have not thanked my generous client in a timely manner, making me look rude! I better hear from someone from corporate 1st thing in the am as it will be a Monday, if not I will be working my way up the corporate chain to the person that heads the company and will assure them that I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau and everyone within my social media circles, several networking groups I belong to and complaint websites and will get the entire full blown story out so others can avoid the wasted time, bad experiences and lies. It's a shame, wish I knew another company that is not FDS oriented to order from, But I can assure you I will be investigating and asking for referrals!

Now what was pictured. VERY MISLEADING!

My husband spent $80 on what he thought would be this beautiful bouquet for me for Mother's Day that was pictured on their site after they sent him an email. What came today was a joke.

A cheap vase with some flower stems that weren't in bloom and some even looked dead. Going to their website it is not even mentioned on their homepage that you get a box, a vase, and flowers that are not even blooming. All you see are gorgeous bouquets of flowers which suck you in. This company should be sued for deceptive business practices.

There are countless other complaints against them. Why do they get away with this?

I feel so sorry for my husband. I contacted them and they were not willing to do anything to make amends.

Mother's Day order cancelled!

I ordered flowers from Proflowers for my mother to be delivered on Mother's Day. Instead, I received an email (not even a phone call) stating that due to an inventory issue my order was cancelled. Had Proflowers called me, I would have known to find a substitute for my mother. I was never charged but it left my mother disappointed and me looking like a forgetful son. I will never let Proflowers represent me again. I thought Proflowers was a legitimate and reputable company. I was wrong. There are many other professional flower companies on the net to chose from. Stay away from Proflowers!

So they notified you of the problem and did not charge you because there was a problem. Sounds pretty reputable to me.

Did not deliver flowers

Ordered flowers for my mother-in-law who is in a nursing home Saturday for Mother's day. No flowers Sunday. When we called proflowers they explained that the order was just now in to the florist and would not be delivered untli Monday at the earliest. This is after we paid an additional $10 to have it delivered on time. Very poor customer service, kept me on hold for 56 min while they were checking on the order. We will NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN! BEWARE OF THIS BUSINESS! My opinion is that they over commit to orders and then let the individuals take the fall. My mother-in-law was very disappointed.

Proflowers has RIDICULOUS PRICING ethics!

There is a REASON that 1-800FLowers has better reviews than Proflowers! sorry but I have to complain. I wanted to SIMPLY buy flowers that were $29.99. Why in the WORLD is my grand total $81.91?!!!!!!! I decided not to purchase and therefore they have lost my business as well as I am sure NUMEROUS others due to their pricing. Why in the WORLD are there 2 delivery fees?!!! One standard one and one for Saturday? I can understand one delivery fee depending on which day of the week it is but two?? I canceled my order and will never order with them again. Here is a summary of what I was about to order before I changed my mind. Absolutely ridiculous. If anyone walked up to a counter wanting to buy $29 flowers with a $9 vase and their total was $81 they would walk out of the store!!!

Order Total

One Dozen Vibrant Birthday Roses: $29.99

Glass Ginger Vase: $9.99

Standard Delivery $14.99

Delivery Rebate

Saturday Delivery $19.98

Care & Handling $2.99

Tax: $3.97

TOTAL: $81.91

I went to 1800Flowers website and chose flowers that were even more expensive, but yet my grand total was STILL over $30 cheaper than Proflowers pricing and ridiculous amount!

Because UPS charges extra to deliver on weekends, thats why.

I can certainly understand taking your business to 1800 Flowers, but regarding the delivery fee that is set by the delivery agent. UPS I know charges a separate fee to deliver on Saturdays which is on top of the normal delivery fee, $23.

FedEx charges $16. Anytime you want Saturday delivery expect to pay more.

Yes it's true FedEx will charge more for 2 day shipping which is their standard shipping for flowers delivered in a cardboard box. And they will charge extra for Saturday delivery.

But it's not the rates posted. It might be if we packed up some flowers from our garden and sent to a friend via 2 day shipping on Saturday. But a big company like Pro-flowers has a pre-arranged discount for shipping that many boxes.

They probably pocket half if not more of what they charge for delivery.

That's how they make up for the ridiculous prices you hear advertised for roses. Here they also charged $9.99 for a ginger vase that costs $1.50 probably less for them. What is care and handling? Shouldn't that be free?

Without all the extras they wouldn't have hit the billion dollar a year mark just selling $19.99 and $29.99 roses and the founder and CEO would have exited with 550 million in his pocket. Flowers $29.99 al other charges over $50

DO NOT ORDER from Pro Flowers!

I didn't have a problem ordering I didn't have a problem w/ pricing (a tad high, but hey, they delivered and on time on a Sunday!) What I did have a problem, was for the price I paid...the lush and stunning photo online must have been a Photoshop Pro's dream to create, because the *** that actually arrived (1 half bloomed rose, 5 others still closed and all the fill in flowers of the Smiles n' Sunshine arrangement were still sealed up!) By the time the other flowers bloom, the freaking roses will be dead! Ugh! Next time...I highly suggest this tip. Walk out to your walk (or even a neighbor's) and pull out a handful of junky weeds, arrange them in a vase and deliver those...it was about the same experience!

Daughters 16th Birthday Flower Arrangement Late and DOA

ProFlowers - Daughters 16th Birthday Flower Arrangement Late and DOA
ProFlowers - Daughters 16th Birthday Flower Arrangement Late and DOA - Image 2

We placed an order from Pro Flowers on Wednesday and the flowers were suppose to arrive on Friday. Friday came and went and the box of flowers (that is being generous that I am calling it flowers) ended up arriving at 6:45pm Saturday night.

The entire arrangement was dead and colorless. More than likely they were dead because they were frozen. Called Pro Flowers and they issued a refund, but we did not order so we could be issued a refund. Please look at the uploaded images of what was ordered and what was received.

Not even close.

Daughters 16th birthday only comes once. NEVER AGAIN!

Two Separate Cymbidium Orchids ordered both unacceptable and still waiting!

My daughter ordered flowers for me and her grandmother. They were all brown on the ends and looked like a fungus on the stems. On her grandmother's flowers looked like they sent a third of her order. It was pathetic. I would NOT recommend.

V-Day roses TINY AND HALF DEAD

$48.73 ! That is what I paid for the $29.99 dozen of mixed Valentines roses. They arrived on time, and I was very happy because you have to jump through hoops to get something delivered to my wife's work. She called me at work crying because she was so happy. She brought the flowers home before opening them. She cried again when she saw the ridiculous, tiny, dry, half-dead roses. 1 week and 3 days later, still no response. I can't wait to foreword the pics my wife took of them. I don't have a problem paying for handling and delivery, but I should be happy with what has been delivered.

Order not delivered on valentines day when delivery on 2/14 paid for

The only reason I chose to order from Pro flowers was because of the guaranteed delivery on Valentine's Day and I thought this would save me a trip to the store then to the post office to mail it. I was so wrong I should've just done the work myself. My order was not delivered on Valentine's Day and now expected delivery is on Monday 2–17. Tried contacting customer service via email and got no response tried calling and spoke to someone who said I can't help you. The whole thing is a sham where they take your money was false promises. I've been ripped off and the company doesn't care! What makes me the most upset is a company receives no consequences. I can only hope that someday they will receive so many complaints that they will no longer have enough profit in business.

Flowers not delivered

On Feb. 5 I placed the order for delivery on Valentine's Day. Paid extra for delivery before noon. As of 2 p.m., they hadn't been delivered, and gf has now left for the day, so no flowers for her. My bad, I suppose, because I didn't check internet to discovery the avalanche of complaints about this company's awful service. How can this company remain in business? *** "customer support" phone operators just read from usual script: "I'm so sorry you're having a bad experience...." A couple tried to blame the weather, but their own "tracking" report says the flowers are on a truck in Brooklyn, and streets are entirely clear in Brooklyn.
