False adverting and poor quality
I wanted to surprise my girl friend with flowers for Valentines Day. After receiving the flowers She was quite surprised that I would send her a bouquet full of green leaves and 8 tulips. I thought I was orderings was 15 red, pink, and white tulips. The bouquet looks nothing like it does in the photo. I can go to Sam's Club and pick up an ARM FULL of flowers for $35. I thought it was just me but after complaining to my sister, mother, and uncle they all had the same experience!! Order one thing, receive something totally different. This is not how you run a business. Pro-Flowers should be ashamed of the quality of their product. I am extremely unhappy.

Hidden Charges, terrible service
I went to ProFlowers because they had a $15 off coupon from Living Social. I went through the order and got the flowers in my shopping cart to see the final cost to see what it would be before purchasing the Living Social deal. Everything looked fine, so I went ahead and got it. Then, on the last "confirmation" page, after I had already entered my credit card info, a $12.99 *additional* shipping fee showed up (beyond the $9.99 I'd already paid for delivery on Mother's Day) plus another $2.99 "care" fee. At this point, I'd already spent the money on the Living Social voucher so I ordered it anyway. So then I started looking up reviews online and found many complaints about flowers showing up in a box from UPS! My flowers are going to be delivered and we'll see what they look like, but I'd recommend going ANYWHERE else.

Proflowers is a rip off
Proflowers will rip you off!! There are hidden fees for shipping and a seperate fee for "handling". The website does not give you a total for the order so you think you got a great deal and then you recieve an Email showing the extra charges! I did not opt for anything but the deal that was shown and ended up paying almost double! Also I was charged tax even though I live in Oregon where there is no sales tax. A little disclaimer says no cancellations, now I know why, what a rip off. No wonder they do not have a customer satisfaction section.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!
Updated by user Mar 13, 2013
Come to find out, they were at the right address but asking for my name instead of the girl I was sending the flowers! I cancelled the order and got a rull refund. Never again.
Original review Mar 12, 2013
I paid extra money to have the flowers delivered to my friends place of work by 1:00 on a Friday. I gave them the company name and the Suite number which happened to be on the 10th floor. Completely ignoring the suite number, they simply walked in to the building and picked a random receptionist who had no idea who my friend was. The building has signs everywhere telling you where the company and suite is located. They did not tell me it wasn't delivered until I called at 6:30 that night. NO ONE called to tell me it wasn't delivered or ask questions. They called my friend at 7:30AM Monday morning to find out where she was, and of course she was at home and they didn't leave a return number. I WAS NEVER CALLED until Tuesday at 10AM to find out if they had the correct address, which of course they did. In the end, it was delivered on Tuesday and they gave me 15% off! It was unbelievable. It should have been free. WORST SERVICE EVER!!!

Over priced flowers that look nothing like pictures on site!! You can do better dealing with local florist or getting them at the grocery store.
My husband sent me flowers for valentines Day. Totally disappointed in the quality of the flowers and they look nothing like the picture on their site. He could have done better getting flowers from the local grocery store and not even come near to spending the $100 Proflowers charged him. He is not the type to complain so he won't contact them but vows to never use them again and to pass the word on to others he knows. It is too bad he didn't see this site before he spent his hard earned money dealing with this company. Warning to all you men out there trying to do nice for your Ladies ... Stay away from Proflowers.

Awful Customer Service - completely ignored!
Horrrrrrible customer service. On Thursday morning (before 10am), I ordered flowers for same day delivery for a birthday. (I paid about $20 to get same day delivery.) Order was confirmed. At 4pm that afternoon, I had an email that they could not deliver my flowers that day. I was disappointed, but responded and said delivery the following day was fine. So ... I assumed my flowers were being delivered on Friday. Never heard anything again ... until Saturday morning, when I got a "cancelled order" email from ProFlowers saying that my order had been cancelled. What?! I responded to this email too ... but still have not heard a response. Ridiculous. Should have used a different company to start with. Will never use again, and will tell all of my friends not to use.

Customer service totally unsympathetic. Horrible Company!
I have used Pro Flowers quite a few times in the past without much problem. I ordered Valentine's flowers and a teddy bear for my girlfriend a week ahead of time to be delivered to her college. 3 days before Valentine's, she told me classes would be out by noon on Valentine's Day so I called the next morning to change shipping to "guaranteed delivery before noon". They told me it was too late to change delivery options. WTF? That's absurd, the flowers were still in Boise and had not been shipped, there was plenty of time to change to expedited shipping. They wouldn't budge. Long story short, the flowers did not arrive before classes were out and we had to make a special trip later that afternoon to get the flowers. The tulips were dry and they are not responding well after putting in a vase and adding the included plant food. After complaining to Customer Service, they basically told me "tough, they were delivered the same day". They didn't ask me about anything concerning the order. This is the last time I will use Pro Flowers. I will buy locally from now on. Pro Flowers could not care less about customer satisfaction.

ProFlowers: What they promised is NOT what they delivered!
I ordered some flowers for my girlfriend because I wanted her to have something special happen for her on V Day. So, I went on the ProFlowers website, found what I THOUGHT was a really nice bouquet. It was supposed to be a dozen roses: 4 red, 4 pink, and 4 yellow, and it was beautifully arranged. Plus, it came with a really nice vase, a small box of chocolates, and a personalized card, all at no extra charge. So I went ahead and came up with a nice message for the card, and ordered the bouquet. It was delivered to her today, but what she got was NOTHING like the photos on the website. The flowers were not arranged in the vase...the photos indicated that they would be. Instead, they came wrapped in a box with the vase and the chocolates. The card was not included in the box at all. Plus, the flowers themselves were as follows: 3 pink, 2 off-pink, 3 white, and 4 yellow/green. Clearly, that's not what was promised on the website. Had I known that the actual product was this *** I would have spent my money elsewhere! I'll be complaining to ProFlowers directly about this, and they have lost me as a customer.

Horrible
Ordered the "hugs and kisses" bouquet for my fiancée for Valentines day. When the "bouquet" arrived amount if flowers they sent vs the amount pictured on the website was laughable. Couldn't even call it a bouquet. The leaves were broken and wilted. Paid over 80$ for this. Inexcusable. This company is fraudulent with their pictures. Their attitude when I called to complain was " whatever, want a refund?". I don't know how these crooks stay in business. Never using them again. Going to local florist who knows what they are doing from now on. Do not use Proflowers! Horrible products, fraudulent advertising and bad customer service.

#1 Customer Rating my ***
For about 10 days I had flower ordered for my fiance for valentine's day to be dropped on at the cosmetology school she attends. About four days in I see that my paypal account was charging me almost 43 dollars for the flowers. That price was a whole heck of alot more than the 27 buck Proflowers advertise with their 19.99 for a dozen assorted roses deal. Come to realize they charge about 14 dollars for the shipping and 5 dollars to GUARANTEE it is delivered on Valentine's Day. But since it was for her I let that slide aside. So Valentine's day arrives and I am anxiously waiting to see a thank you text message or seeing the picture of the flowers on Instagram. Since I didn't pay for it to get to her before Noon they assured that it would be there before 3pm. As the time approached 3 and still no message. I began to track my order. Once I put the order number on the website to check it, UPS who was delivering the package informs me that it was not properly labeled so I could not track it. So as time is getting closer for my fiance to leave the school. I had to kill the surprise and tell her to go to the office and see if the flowers are there. She informs me that the flowers were there but for some reason her school declines the package and makes the driver take the flowers back. Now because of the lack of a tracking number I couldn't find that out until roughly 4pm. So I proceed to call the customer service to see what's up. They offer to send them to the same address (where they rejected it in the first place) or send a replacement to get there in about five day. Already ticked off I just demanded a refund.

Flowers look horrible
Paid $40.00 for flowers and they look dead. Definitely will not recommend this to anybody. Total scam and is overpriced. Want my money back. Does not look like the picture. I followed all directions to the tee. Please take in consideration that this is for valentines day and not a funeral where the deceased can not see them. Should be ashamed of such poor quality and not letting customers know that the pictures on Internet will vary from actual product. Read a lot of complaints and it looks like everybody else feels the same. Thought I would express my feelings even though it won't get me anywhere. Maybe just help someone else not get ripped off.

my husband had flowers sent to me at work, he thought he was ordering flowers for a local florist to deliver not a Fed Ex driver, because it was a Fed Ex delivery it had to go to the warehouse before it got to me, then I told him they were in a box, I brought the box home and showed him and he was astonished because the flowers looked nothing like the picture and he thought they would be arranged and they weren't. When I unrubberband the flowers a big black beetle fell to the ground and the beetle was still alive, oh ya did I mention I live in a very cold climate during this time of year. the leaves had holes in them and the roses are now welting and dying and black around the top. The delivery charges were the same as the flowers. We could have ordered flowers from a local florist and they would have been a lot prettier and fresher for the same price. Never will we order from Pro flowers again!!

Terrible arrangement
Had a dozen long stem roses delivered to wife's job. It came in a box. Roses were small and not arranged. One of the roses was broken. My wife had to cut open the box, unwrap the small roses, fill the overly large cheap looking vase with water and arrange the roses herself. Thanks for ruining her day. Flowers look nothing like what is pictured. I could have got a better looking arangement from Walmart at a quarter of the price. Will never use this company again and will advise other not to as well. Thankfully with this type of service, they will be out of business soon.

DELIVERY CHARGES TWICE THE COST OF THE FLOWERS??
COMPANY ADVERTISES FLOWERS AT PRICE OF 19.99 BUT JUST PRIOR TO SENDING YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION THEY ADD ANOTHER $22.00 DOLLARS IN DELIVERY AND HANDLING CHARGES SIMPLY TO GUARANTEE THAT YOUR FLOWERS WILL BE DELIVERED ON VALENTINES DAY? THE POINT IS THEY DON'T DISCLOSE THE FINAL COST UNTIL AFTER THEY OBTAIN YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION--BEWARE THE DISCOUNT IS A TRAP!!! SO BUYERS SHOULD REALLY BE AWARE OF THIS TRAP AND RECONSIDER SHOPPING AT ANOTHER SITE THAT WILL SUMMARIZE THE FINAL COST PRIOR TO ENTERING YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION AND AT LEAST PLACE THE TOTAL COST IN A LOCATION OF THE WEBPAGE THAT CAN BE EASILY SEEN
