Run from Proflowers

I heard a radio advertisement for 1-800-Pro Flowers, Mothers Day 100 Blooms for Mom $19.99. I ordered the 100 Blooms, automatically the vase they came in was $11.99, I switched to the Free Large Ginger Vase. Shipping was free on certain dates, and I picked a date. At check out I saw standard Delivery was $12.99, care and handling $2.99, tax $2.52. The $19.99 Mothers Day 100 Blooms turned into a price of $38.49 false advertising. I went through with the order, I wasted enough time filling out the forms. I would never order flowers from this garbage company again, the negative reviews on the Internet about this company are unbelievable, I cannot believe they are still in business. I would love too see them file for chapter 11. I will pay triple to a flower company before I ever use these dirt bags again.

So do you think companies can magically pay UPS and Fedex with out charging you for shipping? It's not false advertising, the flowers were 19.99, you should have assumed that you would be charged for someone to pick the flowers and then mail them to you.

ProFlowers review in San Antonio, Texas: Flowers never delivered, horrible customer service

I ordered flowers for a friends birthday for same day delivery. They were supposed to be a surprise but I asked her husband to keep an eye out for them. They were never delivered so I immediately called customer service. This lady was nice enough and assured me that the flowers would be delivered the next day and I would be refunded the extra charge for same day delivery. The following day came and went and still no flowers. I called customer service again and asked why the flowers were not being delivered. The customer service person told me that they could not find out why because the florist was closed but insisted that they would be delivered the next day. The following day came and I decided to call customer service that morning to confirm that the flowers would be delivered. This customer service lady again seemed nice enough. She said that she had confirmed with the florist that the flowers would be delivered that day between 1pm and 5pm. Well, 5pm came and went and finally at 8pm my friends husband texted me to tell me there were no flowers. I asked him to just tell her and ask if she had any messages, thinking that perhaps they had tried to contact her because she wasn't home to receive the flowers. No calls, no messages, no note on the door! I again called customer service and this time got a very rude person. She would not answer me as to why the flowers were not being delivered but just told me that they would be delivered the next day. That's when I asked to speak to a supervisor. After being on hold for almost 30 mins. I hung up and tried again. This time immediately asking for a supervisor. The customer service agent again tried to put me on hold when I insisted that she not do that. I finally got to talk to the supervisor and she was super rude. Such a disrespectful tone as if she just didn't care. I asked her why the flowers were not being delivered. She said that on the first day that they put the order out to 3 different florist but none could take the order. I then told her that at that point I should have been contacted. When I asked why after 2 more days they still were not delivered she couldn't give me an answer. Then had the nerve to tell me "well, what am I suppose to do?" In such a snotty tone. Finally, I just had to ask her to cancel the order and give me a refund. I told her that I was extremely disappointed and would be sure to never use their service, never recommend them to friends and report them to the BBB. Her response, "Fine you do that." WHAT??? If this supervisor would have made at least SOME effort to make right this debacle I would be willing to give them another chance. I've been to business where things didn't go as they should have and when the business makes an effort to correct the wrong I am willing to return. This however is one business I will NEVER use again and I hope that they lose business enough to get them to change!

ProFlowers review in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania: V-Day roses TINY AND HALF DEAD

$48.73 ! That is what I paid for the $29.99 dozen of mixed Valentines roses. They arrived on time, and I was very happy because you have to jump through hoops to get something delivered to my wife's work. She called me at work crying because she was so happy. She brought the flowers home before opening them. She cried again when she saw the ridiculous, tiny, dry, half-dead roses. 1 week and 3 days later, still no response. I can't wait to foreword the pics my wife took of them. I don't have a problem paying for handling and delivery, but I should be happy with what has been delivered.

finally, their solution was a $20 credit which I will never use

There is a REASON that 1-800FLowers has better reviews than Proflowers! sorry but I have to complain. I wanted to SIMPLY buy flowers that were $29.99. Why in the WORLD is my grand total $81.91?!!!!!!! I decided not to purchase and therefore they have lost my business...

ProFlowers review in Paramus, New Jersey: Flowers looked like they were from last year Vday

I ordered the Proflowers for Valentine's day roses and what was delivered to my wife's job were flowers looking like they were from last year's Valentine's day. The roses were limp, brown and wilted and didn't look even remotely close to they photo on the website. three days later they look worse than ever. They're dying before they ever bloomed. The baby's breath is even dying. I have complained to proflowers, requesting a refund as I do not want a credit of any kind. I am completely pissed off. Stay away from Proflowers. Order from your local florist. These guys are a ripoff!!!

Same thing with my mom. She received flowers from a family member through proflowers.

They were almost dead when she got them 4 days later they were completely toast. They were the ugliest flowers I've ever seen.

ProFlowers review in Nashville, Tennessee: Order not delivered on valentines day when delivery on 2/14 paid for

The only reason I chose to order from Pro flowers was because of the guaranteed delivery on Valentine's Day and I thought this would save me a trip to the store then to the post office to mail it. I was so wrong I should've just done the work myself. My order was not delivered on Valentine's Day and now expected delivery is on Monday 2–17. Tried contacting customer service via email and got no response tried calling and spoke to someone who said I can't help you. The whole thing is a sham where they take your money was false promises. I've been ripped off and the company doesn't care! What makes me the most upset is a company receives no consequences. I can only hope that someday they will receive so many complaints that they will no longer have enough profit in business.

ProFlowers review in Bothell, Washington: Looked like all that was left at 7/11 at 10pm on Valentines day.

Worst flowers and chocolate ever. Valentines Day, 2014. Price went from $39.95 to almost $70 with all og their add on charges and extras. I was embarrassed.....my wife ACTUALLY LAUGHED. These look like all that was remaining at a 7/11 store at 10 pm an Valentines eve. All different lengths, Poorly mixed colors that do not even belong in the same vase. My wife had to cut a piece of the chocolate with a KNIFE!!! Wow..........Never again when I could have gotten her a present and a dozen roses at Costco that would have been fresh for a week, not folwers that look D.O.A.!! Pro flowers....NEVER AGAIN...my wife is still laughing like it is a joke! Bob P.

I ordered flowers from this site a week before valentines day. The picture on their site looked beautiful. I know what you see in advertisements isn't always what you get, but I assumed the flowers would at least be assembled and in the vase. I assumed incorrectly....

ProFlowers review in New York, New York: Flowers not delivered

On Feb. 5 I placed the order for delivery on Valentine's Day. Paid extra for delivery before noon. As of 2 p.m., they hadn't been delivered, and gf has now left for the day, so no flowers for her. My bad, I suppose, because I didn't check internet to discovery the avalanche of complaints about this company's awful service. How can this company remain in business? *** "customer support" phone operators just read from usual script: "I'm so sorry you're having a bad experience...." A couple tried to blame the weather, but their own "tracking" report says the flowers are on a truck in Brooklyn, and streets are entirely clear in Brooklyn.

ProFlowers review: Beware Pro Flowers ~Poor Quality of Product and Service

I ordered a very expensive orchid plant from Pro Flowers as a thank you gift for a high end client that has given me hundreds of dollars of business. At the time of the call I was assured the plant would have a good ratio of buds and blooms. (Once bloomed the plant will not produce more buds until a new stem grows the following growth season.) It arrived, had only 4-5 buds left on on the entire plant, it has usually over 30-30 blooms. Called to reorder per their 100% satisfaction guarantee, once again reassured the plant would arrive with a better ratio, this time the plant had absolutely NO BUDS whatsoever! On top of that one of the stems of the plant was broke, due to poor packaging and no Up arrows for UPS to know how to position the box~ I was told by the 1st call center supervisor I would receive a call within 24 hours, I also told the supervisor that I wanted a call placed to the warehouse manager to ask that they take a photo of the next plant to be delivered so I would be assured of the quality, and was told they did not know who the warehouse mgr was and that they could not possibly fulfill my request. i EXPLAINED i WAS RUNNING OUT OF TIME and needed help asap and wanted this next plant to be the quality I was paying for.He became very curt and he put me back through to the original call center order taker, and I was told the plant was to be reordered.I got a text as she was finishing her verbiage, got distracted and didn't get a new order number, as she did not offer to give me one. So called back, got another call center, was told they did not see any reorder info, spoke with that call center's supv and was told I would receive a call between 24-48 hours, STILL have not heard back. As I explained to supv #2, the 1st supv LIED to me to get off the phone quickly, I'm sure, but should have told me the truth that it would be 24-48 hrs. Throughout both calls I was even voiced, pleasant and never rude. I decided to go online to get the corporate headquarter's phone number and lo and behold found their website with an enormous number of negative feed back regarding Pro Flower's quality and lack of customer service! Then went back to my google search and found this website, so glad I did! I'm sick to my stomach that I have wasted literally over two weeks of waiting for the quality I paid for and in the meantime have not thanked my generous client in a timely manner, making me look rude! I better hear from someone from corporate 1st thing in the am as it will be a Monday, if not I will be working my way up the corporate chain to the person that heads the company and will assure them that I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau and everyone within my social media circles, several networking groups I belong to and complaint websites and will get the entire full blown story out so others can avoid the wasted time, bad experiences and lies. It's a shame, wish I knew another company that is not FDS oriented to order from, But I can assure you I will be investigating and asking for referrals!
