Proflowers.com is the worst!
I ordered my mother-in-law a Mother's Day arrangement of flowers on May 7th to be delivered on May 10th. There is supposed to be a guaranteed delivery for that date, which is why I paid more, but according to ups the address is wrong, when it's the correct address where I have sent her everything for the past years! I contacted them because I need the arrangement delivered at the latest on Sunday the 13th for Mother's Day here, but I haven't had anybody get back to me! I will NEVER place an order from them ever again! This has turned a wonderful experience for her into a terrible Mother's Day!

ProFlowers review in Denver, Colorado: Best Customer Service????? That's a JOKE!
I ordered my mother, who lives in another state, azalea's for Mother's Day on May 7, 2013, for delivery on May 10, 2013. Today, I called my mom and asked her if she received a delivery and she said no. I went to Proflower's website and did the tracking on my order. The prepared the UPS label but never turned it in. I called their customer service who informed me that they had the best customer service in the county. I then told her well then you need to get these flowers to my mother before Mother's Day. She said we can't do that but we can give you a refund or a store credit. I said that's not what I ordered...I want the plant delivered to her. She then blamed UPS and I said it's not UPS' fault (although they are another company that annoys me). I said someone at Proflowers dropped the ball and she finally agreed with me but again told me repeatedly that they couldn't get the plant to my mother before May 21. I then got on the phone and called 7 other florists and found one in my mom's neighborhood in Oak Brook that will deliver to her by tomorrow. Very frustrating, I will NEVER EVER use Proflowers again. I didn't realize they had this many complaints!

ProFlowers review in San Francisco, California: They STEAL Money
Proflowers.com is the worst flower vendor online. Their prices are misleading. After filling out their long and drawn out (unnecessary) forms you get a surprise. You get charged for service fees up the *** and they even charged more than the item cost. They charged me $2 additional on my order. I called customer service and after 30 minutes the clueless customer service rep admitted that this was a fault on their system. Now it's not about the amount of money that they charged, it was only two dollars. It was the fact that it took me so long to get credited.

ProFlowers review in Plainfield, New Jersey: Overcharged and not even close to what was ordered
After ordering a wreath from ProFlowers for my niece, I got an email with a "special offer" for roses. The special was for 2 dozen rainbow colored roses in a large vase for $19.99. What was delivered was 1 dozen of roses in a sickly looking light pink - one color. Where was the beautiful vibrant colors that they promise on their website...and where was the other dozen that I paid dearly for????? When I called their Customer Service department and asked to speak to a supervisor, I was put on hold three times, disconnected once and hung up on. When I finally got another first-level live caller, she informed me that all the supervisors were on a break and no one could be reached. This company is clearly unprofessional on all levels from their advertising to their product and finally with their avoidance of any customer service follow up.

ProFlowers review in Huntington, New York: Deceptive, unethical business practice
5/10/13 Attn.: ProFlowers senior management For One Dozen Long Stemmed Rainbow Mother's Day Roses: $20.98, you heaped on a total $35.97 for delivery charges--as illustrated below! Square Glass Vase: $9.99 Standard Delivery: $12.99 Saturday Delivery $19.99 $3 Off Your Vase -$3.00 Care & Handling $2.99 That's indeed highway robbery, ProFlowers. You also failed to give credit for FOX promotion that I had inserted twice (above the sub-total, which had not yet included the triple S/H) before finalizing the order. This gross variance to ethical business standards is outrageous. It will be brought to the attention of the NY-NJ DAs, BBB, and the FTC as deceptive, and unfair business practices in the marketplace

Proflowers Delivery Service
ProFlowers review in Missoula, Montana: Upset, disappointed...
Mother's day "special" 19.99 offer ended up paying 51.50 they charge two delivery fees "standard delivery fee and a mother's day delivery fee" I didn't ask to have them delivered on Mother's day (Sunday) I had them delivered on Friday the 10th (today). My mother received an ugly brown ups box with the flowers wrapped in ugly plastic wrap the vase was secured nicely and my mother has to put together the arrangement herself. I will never use PROFLOWERS AGAIN. This is absolutely false advertisement and a complete scam. Buyer be ware... DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY

ProFlowers review in Phoenix, Arizona: MISLEADING ADVERTISMENT FOR $19.99 MOTHERS DAYS FLOWERS
I ordered flowers this morning for Mother's Day; the $19.00 tulip bouquet and they ended up costing $57.00!! The advertisement was very misleading and did not explain there would be 2 delivery fees plus a "care" fee (whatever that is! This company is misleading the public and costing consumers over twice their advertisements pricing. No where in the ad does it state the sender will be charged two different delivery fees. ANYONE CONSIDERING ORDERING FLOWERS FROM THIS COMPANY...BEWARE IT IS A SCAM!! Order your flowers from the local florist in the town that they are being delivered to; you'll get fresher flowers and a more reliable delivery with no hidden charges and you will be able to talk to the actual people that are making the arrangement for you. Too bad I had to learn this valuable lesson on a day honoring the most important person's day in the year.

ProFlowers review in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania: James P.
Update by user May 10, 2013
*deceptive
Original review posted by user May 10, 2013
What started out to be a 19.99 "special" for Mothers Day, turned into a 68.00 Charge on my Credit Card. When I called to cancel the order-(about half hour after the transaction), Felecia at ProFlowers stated that she could not cancel order. I stated that I was "double" charged for shipping, she stated 'yes' we charge standard shipping 14.99 and also since it's Mothers Day we charge 14.99 for Sunday delivery. When I stated I just don't want them, she said hold on, then came back to phone and said I'ts "Peak Season", we cannot cancel your order / nor refund your money. Yes, I'm Pissed. I REALLY HATE DISEPTIVE TACTICS. WILL TELL EVERYONE I KNOW NOT TO ORDER FROM ONLINE PROFLOWERS.

ProFlowers review in Hilliard, Ohio: PRO FLOWERS RIP OFF
I received some flowers last Mothers Day. Too bad they arrived dead!!! Not even wilted--they were dead!!! And the chocolates were totally melted!!! I called and Pro Flowers who sent out a replacement order. When they arrived by an unrefrigerated Fed-X truck, they were wilted and almost dead. We live in TN, we were having extremely high temps of 90++ for the past two weeks. I would never order from Pro Flowers--order from your local florist. These roses had been in a truck for over 8 hours in the sweltering heat. The chocolates in the replacement order were also melted. DON'T WASTE YOUR $$$$!!!!

ProFlowers review in Miami, Florida: $72.00 for $29.99 Bouquet
Ordered a $29.99 bouquet and got charged $71.63. I tried to cancel my order and the lady told me, "We had so many complaints for the $19.99 Mother's Day delivery fee, that we made a policy that no orders can be changed or modified after May 4th." I made my order 3 hours ago and they wouldn't refund me. Nowhere in the checkout did they give me a $72.00 total. Now I'm broke and haven't even bought my own mother a gift yet. This was for my Mother-in-Law. I will never use this site again.
