Proflowers

SCAM!! Order today and you will be ordering for ever. Made a legit order last year. This year another was placed without my approval. Contacts with the company have been allusive and vague. They stated that they will not respond the fraud victims or banks...Nice as a consumer...BEWARE of some automatic ordering by clicking "next" , then when when there is a question, no customer servcice, no call back, no response to emails...My next step is with the Attorney General of NYS, as well as those who endorse this product....This is what give internet shopping a bad name...Never again!!!! CAUTION when dealing with this company.

Proflowers scheduled 3:00 delivery in 105 degree weather

My son ordered flowers for mothers day. Delivery, Saturday around noon. Flowers were warm, but seemed pretty. By evening they were drooping. Sunday morning, petals dropping on the table. Monday morning, most were dying. Monday night he called, they rescheduled delivery for new flowers. They arrived yesterday around 3 pm in 105 degree weather. The box was hot, flowers were HOT but I tried my best to save them. Chocolates in the box completely melted. Today, some of the 2 dozen are dead. So disappointing. Fedex driver couldn't believe morning delivery wasn't scheduled. Flowers would have been OK.

Proflowers messes up then refuses to admit it

Ordered a Dozen strawberries for valentines day. Yes, the wife likes chocolate covered fruit more than flowers. So, I chose valentines day as the deliver date and started the checkout process. During checkout I expected to be offered vases and other deals, which is OK with me. They offered flowers, a dozen roses, at a substantial discount. So, selected to also purchase the flowers. On valentines day the flowers show up, the items I selected secondary, but no strawberries. I was busy that night, as might be expected, so I didn't end up writing to Proflowers that night. The next day the strawberries showed up. So, I got the primary gift I selected a day late and the secondary gift I selected only because it was offered for a discount price on time. I contacted proflowers indicating I did not get everything on Valentines day. They told me the strawberries were delivered the next day so there was nothing wrong. I responded again indicating the choice of the delivery date and alluding to the importance of a valentines day gift being delivered on valentines day. They responded telling me they scheduled the deliver to span 2 separate days and see nothing wrong so they would not do anything for me. I know they had a special deal where you could choose a combo deal and have deliveries of the combo items arrive over a period of days. I specifically did not choose this combo deal, which I indicated. I also responded to proflowers asking them to rationalize how anyone would choose to have a valentines day gift delivered after valentines day. I asked them to specifically try to understand that whatever their system did to cause an item not to be delivered on valentines day was something they should be responsible for. But, they would do nothing for me. Many large companies can easily have many satisfied customers unless they are total screw ups, and you don't get to be a large internet company by being a total screw up. But, what separates an ok company from a good one is how they handle their screw ups. It is clear that their system made a mistake. I indicated this in many different ways. They would not admit to it nor take responsibility for it. They show no quality service at all. I've received orders from them before and there were not problems. Receiving something that was clearly their mistake and not admitting it will cause me to never purchase from them again. I suggest everyone do the same. Are you willing to take the risk that your order is not delivered on a time for a special occasion? if that happens are you willing to take the risk that they will not admit responsibility nor make any corrective action? I dont want to take these risks. I expected more from them. I will not order from them ever again.

Why would you go through some discount flower delivery website to give your loved one a gift? let alone...to order a perishable item like strawberries and expect them to be the freshest in the world when they arrive.

Here's a tip: anyone who really does care about their loved one, will not mail them something on valentines day, lol.

You should have done this in person or not done it at all. Way to be a sellout and try to pay someone to be nice to your girl for a day instead of just doing it yourself like a man.

Guest

they are the same company that owns QVC & the atlanta braves.. so what did you expect..

(untill last year DirecTV was part of the same company but they split it off) the berries are not even dipped in real chocolate.. if you had first searched on "proflowers fraud" you would see you were not the first person for any type of problem you could think of

jhernandez

We apologize for the confusion with our online order form Petecis. We do have items that are delivered on a two day schedule that cannot be altered by our customers using the online order form and it was probably not an error in the system if you unknowingly upgraded your product to one of those options, however our customer service agent should not have simply told you that you were wrong and left it at that; that isn't how we expect our agents to treat our customers.

There is a reason why ProFlowers has been in business for over a decade, and it is because we treat our customers how we would want to be treated if we were in their shoes.

Without seeing your specific order I cannot offer any further insight here, but if you give me a call at 866-526-9426, I'll definitely do what I can to make it right for you. -Steve

They get away with this because of their advertising. They sell sell sell and so far, people are buying buying buying.

As consumers such as yourself wise up to the nonsense, they will eventually fade away. Many local floral and candy shops offer holiday deliveries of dipped fruit.

Perhaps next year you'll look in your own community for a more reliable vendor. Good luck!

PROFLOWERS IS A RIPOFF!!

SO I TRY AS HARD AS I CAN TO FIND FLOWERS WORTH ACTUALLY GIVING. I GO TO PRO FLOWERS PICK OUT A SET THAT SEEMS TO FIT MY NEEDS. I GO TO PAY AND I'M ASTONISHED BY THE AMOUNT WHICH WAS NOT THE AMOUNT ADVERTISED BTW. ANY WHO I CALL BACK AND CANCEL MY ORDER THE LADY SAYS IT'LL TAKE AT LEAST 24HRS TO HAVE MY MONEY RETURNED TO ME. WHICH IS RIDICULOUS B/C ON ALL OF THEIR PAGES IT SAID THAT NOTHING WAS CHARGED TO MY CARD. WHICH WAS A TOTAL AND COMPLETE LIE. THEY NOT ONLY CHARGED MY CARD BUT GAVE ME FALSE INFORMATION ON HOW LONG IT WOULD TAKE TO GET MY REFUND. I AM OUTRAGED. THIS IS MY FIRST TIME USING THIS COMPANY AND BELIEVE ME IT WILL BE MY LAST, AND THE LAST TIME ANYONE IN MY FAMILY USES THEM. SO DISAPPOINTED I HOPE IF YOUR A NEW CUSTOMER YOU READ THIS WITH ENOUGH TIME TO SAVE YOURSELF THE STRESS AND HEARTACHE.

AWFUL flowers and HORRIBLE support

my boyfriend and i ordered seperate arrangements for my mother and his mother for mother's day his mother got hers first and they looked like a total and complete joke....the arrangement was supposed to be purple, and come with 16 carnations, 4 roses and a few other flowers.....the arrangemnt consisted of all white carnations with one tacky neon pink one and 1 white rose...it looked like something found at a funeral home i ordered my mother 2 dozen red roses that were sent with the wrong vase, they were orange and there were only 16 roses half long stem half short and fell apart as soon as they were taken out of the box. the customer service is AWFUL and cold we were both issued refunds, but they won't be recieved until 5-7 business days and have no money to get something for our moms, which is a huge disappointment

Sponsorship of Rush limpdick

I will not be doing business with you in the near future because you must support this POOR excuse for a human being. I am 63 yrs. old and cannot believe that in 2012. You would support this kind of visceral speech. You pay for this? I was florist for years and loved working with beautiful flowers none of which talked. I payed for advertising and I had the product that stood up for a professional business. As a woman I am ashamed that you must think a person such as Rush (your good buddy) speaks for you. I will talking with many women this weekend and will be telling them to boycott ALL business locally in the San Diego that accepts Proflower orders. In closing I think it would wise of you to drop Rush. Truly , Meg Angelow

I am already in the process of telling my clients, my family, my friends and every person I come into contact with to boycott

ProFlowers as long as they continue to sponsor

Rush Limbaugh. Rush Limbaugh hates women and takes every opportunity to denegrate them. If ProFlowers doesn't cancel their sponsorship, then we can infer that ProFlowers also

hates women.

Proflowers- Don't order flowers from this company

I ordered flowers from Proflowers and the tracking from Fedex said it was delivered last Fri at 430pm. I spoke with my mom today and asked if she has received the flowers and to my disappointment she said she did not receive it. This is a shame because I was hesistant to order flowers from this company since the last time I made an order I actually got screwed by automatically getting enrolled by a rep to some discount program with a $6.99/month premium, fraudulent/sneaky yet hard to dispute. I gave this guys a second chance and I got screwed again. I am never going to use Pro-flowers again and I will put my disappointment on every review I can get my hands on. I despise this company.

Proflowers.com Delivery SUCKS at hospitals

Sent two dozed dipped strawberries to my wife who is a nurse. It's "week of the nurse" and a big deal for them. They ended up delivered to the loading dock and left there. Paid extra for the "before noon" delivery and she has still been unable to locate them at the end of her shift. Now the $85 strawberries are going to rot in the box. I called proflowers about it and they said it's common practice to just drop them in the hands of the hospital mail room and leave. Wish there was a note about that on the website! They also said it's the same way with flower delivery. Lesson learned. Watch out for hospital deliveries. Seems like that is a big chunk of their business (shipping to sick people in the hospital) and they don't even care if the delivery even makes it to the recipient. Pretty bummed.

I apologize for the bad experience. Typically if the arrangement does not make it to the recipient the order makes its way to one of those locations that the agent told you.

Its a case by case situation depending on the hospital. I again apolgize and if there's anything I can do for you don't hesitate to reach out to us at 888-855-****.

Never order from Proflowers

I ordered flowers for my mom for mother's day and during my order chose the flexible delivery option for delivery on either May 10th or 11th. When my order was finalized, after I entered my credit card, the bill included a $4.99 delivery charge, for delivery on May 11th! I did not choose that. When I called customer services, they refuse to do anything about it and had the audacity to say that it was who "I" was the one who made the mistake. What kind of customer service is that?! Will NEVER, EVER order from them again!

Hello Orangecap, I'm sorry for your frustration. Before clicking confirm, there is a complete breakdown of the entire order.

If a $4.99 charge was part of the bill, it would have stated that on the 'review order' page, before you clicked confirm.

If still have questions or concerns, give us a call at 888-855-****. Casey

I ordered from Proflowers 2 bouquets for Mother's Day to same address for 2 different recipients for Friday delivery. One got there the other didn't, FedX wouldn't deliver due to damaged packing at pickup? Addressed this Friday evening with Proflowers, their response was next delivery would be on Tuesday after Mother's Days or pay additional delivery fees for something that wasn't my fault. I asked for a refund so I could go elsewhere.

Hidden Fees

All I wanted was to do something nice for my grandparents and send them flowers for Valentine's day. When it came time for billing my total was $26.00, but after submitting my order, it was $53.00!!! All those horrible hidden fees. I immediately called to cancel my order and they blew me off saying saying something about the order already been processed.

They told me to call back after they were delivered and they "might" be able to do something for me! How unprofessional!

All I wanted was send some decently priced flowers! $30.00 extra in hidden charges, ARE YOU FOR REAL?!

I am so ticked off, what a horrible company!

same thing happened to me. I will never recommend them to any one.

Guest

I just ordered through ProFlowers and I can understand why people are upset with them. The price with the initial picture is ONLY for the FLOWERS.

Then you add a vase, but it doesn't update the price. Then you click the calendar for standard delivery which has 0 price next to it, but other delivery day options show 4.99, which misleads you to thinking that standard delivery is FREE, but IT IS NOT. Finally when you get to check out and BEFORE submitting your order, you do get an itemized bill of the flowers, the vase, the standard delivery fee, and any other extras you got along the way that did not show you the price for those extras before this point. So, an original order of 19.99 for flowers, turned into 55.

I still had a chance to cancel before clicking complete my order, but yes the site is very misleading until the very end. There should be a cost amount shown every time you add an item before getting to check out.

Guest

Yes, the same here AND they were to take 20% off the order AUTOMATICALLY but of course did not!!! Rip off and never to be used again...

Good bye pro scammers! Scott

Guest

I had the same exact experience. I ordered a dozen roses for mother's day, something that appeared while checking out as $26 and I just noticed they added hidden charges and actually cost me $53. Completely miffed and will never order from there again.

Guest

Usually Paypal shows the total you are about to pay and then you can agree to it, but proflowers does not show you the total price until after you click submit. This is very devious and wrong.

I called them the second I saw the fee and they would not let me cancel.

Fortunately, with paypal, you can stop a transaction without any fee. It seems that calling paypal is the ONLY WAY TO CANCEL with proflowers.

Guest

...Are you kidding me "Luke"? 866-526-**** - This is EXACTLTY "Typical" of your service.

Have you read the THOUSANDS of complaints against your company. Can you seriously deny them all? This Scam/Business NEEDS to be shut down.

Can't wait for the Twitter when that happens. Should be bigger than New Years @ Times Square.

Anthony Exz

I also had a similar experience and it is complete and utter B.S! I ordered flowers for my wife on Valentine's Day off of a radio promotion.

While the promotion was valid, I was hit with these ridiculous hidden delivery charges (Guaranteed Valentine's Day Delivery $4.99 and Care & Handling $2.99) after I selected the Standard Delivery charge $9.99 and submitted my order.

I did not know about these other charges UNTIL I received the confirmation email! Why couldn't they just show these charges when I reviewed my order BEFORE I click Submit???

ProFlowers.....Never Again....And I will let others know of this ripoff!

Guest

I thought it would be nice to have some flowers shipped to my girlfriend's office for Valentine's Day and saw ProFlowers' advertisement for free shipping. I selected a bouquet for $48 with advertised "free shipping", only to discover in my confirmation email that they charged me three separate and different types of shipping fees totaling $26!!!

When I called customer service, the first person to answer said he was busy as soon as he picked up the phone and told me to call back so I could get someone else...wth?! After I did that, the customer service person I eventually talked to said it was too late to cancel and refund me since the order had already been processed (from only a couple hours earlier).

Sooo ticked off about this... I'm going to let everyone I know about what happened and never use these guys again!!

Guest

I have also been had by the Pro Flowers web site, I complained and did receive a fast response about the double shipping fees that I paid and that they are sorry that I was not happy. Not happy, no one like the hidden fees.

I had an order of 45 dollars and after shipping it was well over 70 dollars!! When I questioned them about the double billing fees, I was told that I paid to have the flowers deliverd on Monday morning, If I had know that I would not have checked for it to be delivered on Monday. My mom did not get the flowers on Monday morning either.

Just another story to try and place the blame on the consumer. I will never use this company again and recommend that others avoid them at all cost.

Guest

I have a similar experience, it's a rip off and I've told all my friends not to shop there. This is a terrible website and a huge scam.

Sponsor Rush - Lost My Business

I cannot support a company that sponsors Rush Limbaugh's program. Rush calling a young Georgetown student a ***, ***, and asking her to video her sex acts and stream them online so he can watch is not the talk of someone you should want to represent your company. The fact that his statements are all based on lies is even worse. She was not asking for taxpayers to pay for Georgetown students contraception, she was asking their Health Insurance to cover contraception on their policies, which is also used for serious medical conditions. You sent me a letter saying you would still sponsor his show, so I asked you to close my account. I can no longer have anything to do with your company.

You people are all Rushists.

Guest

You have lost my (enormous) family's business--AT LEAST 20 or so orders in the last year.

A 30-year old admitted "Reproduction Rights" activist who confesses that she enrolled (on a "Public Interest" scholarship, natch) in a Jesuit university for the sole reason of forcing them to include contraception in their health insurance coverage. (She is also an activist for forcing coverage of transgender operations/implants) is pulled by the Dems at the last minute to testify at a Congressional hearing on the Constitutionality of forcing church orgs. to act against their foundational beliefs.

She is not allowed to appear because witnesses at such hearings must be scheduled three days ahead for vetting, i.e., to be sure they are who they are purported to be and qualified to speak on the subject of the hearing. The Dems then FAKE a Congressional hearing which is obediently televised and broadcast by its lapdog media.

The woman gives NO factual or verifiable information, claims that contraception costs $1000 a school year (Target's price for a month's Pills--$9, $81 per year; Planned Parenthood's, $~20 a month, $180 a year); DC gives free condoms (paid for by taxpayers) to anyone who asks.

""Forty percent of the female students at Georgetown Law reported to us that they struggled financially as a result of this policy (Georgetown student insurance not covering contraception)" Fluke reported. When I look around my campus, I see the faces of the women affected by this lack of contraceptive coverage...they tell me that they have suffered financially, emotionally and medically, because of this lack of coverage."

(Students at a $60,000 per year university can't afford $81 a year for contraception????)

And when someone attempts to present this farce as the absurdity--nay, insanity--it is, HE is pilloried--toward the goal of forcing him off the air--for saying a naughty word!

This ship of fools that used to be a great nation deserves everything it's about to get. Their world and welcome to it.

Guest

I don't care how you feel about the contraceptive issue, Rush Limbaugh had no right to verbally attach a young college student the way he did.

She is not a politician, only a young student wanting to express her opinion.

One of the worse things he said was that he wanted her to make a video of her having sex so everyone could watch. This is DISGUSTING!!!!

He made fun of a young teenage girl several years back...Chelesa Clinton..talked on and on about how ugly she was. Why would anyone do that to a young girl?

He is a heartless bigot and we need to get him off the air.

You need to do your part and drop your sponsership of his show!

If you don't I guarantee you will feel the wrath of women right in your pocketbook.

Please do the right thing!

Guest

I support Rush all the way!

Guest

ProFlowers has LOST my business (6 orders in last year) over their cowardly actions in dumping Rush. For every seminar poster like the first one, there are 10 real customers who will vote with their pocketbook. My local florist just gained some significant business.

Guest

As a long time Rush listener and as an American women who believes in the constitution and the freedoms it protects, I will be looking for a new company to buy flowers from. I stand behind Rush.

Guest

Pro-Flowers is horrible scam company anyhow. Plus why should I pay for someone who can't figure out how to not get sperm in her ***?

Guest

Of course this woman is asking taxpayers to pay for her contraception. Do you think the insurance companies are going to give it out for free??

No, their insurance members will be paying for the "free" contraception. You must not listen to Rush on a daily basis since you lost his point. Rush does not lie - the media and our government lies. It is completely wrong for our government to order, first, religious institutions to pay for birth-control and other abortion drugs, and second, to order insurance companies to offer it for free.

You want it, you pay for it.

Food and water are necessities in life, not a birth-control pill. Stop eating up what the media is feeding you and educate YOURSELF.

ProFlowers misses Mother's Day

Don't use Proflowers unless you want to risk ruining a holiday or sentimental Day. They missed my Mother's Day delivery and had me online FOREVER to miss my Mother's Day. The best they could do was offer to deliver it again days later at the same full price. After I complained that days later would not be good enough, the customer service finally said they would knock off the shipping... and that was only after a huge complaint. I asked for a refund. I couldn't even expect that to be handled quickly and called my bank instead. Go with someone else if you want them to actually care about getting your flowers there in time. They certainly didn't care that an 80 year old waited all day for them.

PRO FLOWERS STINKS

I ordered flowers I got my order number (8262****) everything seemed fine. I find out while I'm away that they did not send the flowers. They gave several excuses starting with they wanted to confirm my card was actually me and could not get a hold of me. The first girl said we are sorry but have returned your money. I told her i wanted flowers delivered not my money back. When she could not give me specifics I asked for a manager who had a chip on her shoulder from the start. Again no reason kust i should be happy they randomly double check because she had her idenity stolen and it's was a hassle. So let me see i should be happy that i ordered flowers and didn't get them delivered because i got my money back and they have a security process that they think is good. What about the flowers i sent hoping to fix a personal problem. What a lousy company. No offer to make it right just a defensive manager. offer to make it right nothing what a loser company.
