ProFlowers review in Virginia Beach, Virginia: Never Again.

I will never be using your fraudulent company again. On Friday I was looking for a website that would allow me to send flowers to my mother for her birthday on Sunday. I wanted to ensure they were delivered on Sunday and low and behold, your website has a special, more expensive site that ensures delivery on Sunday. I paid extra for my flowers, and twice as much for my delivery in order to ensure my mother's flowers were deliver the morning of her birthday. To my unfortunate surprise, I get a message Sunday at 11am (an HOUR before my very expensive GUARANTEED delivery deadline) that your service needs an alternate day for delivery. NO APOLOGY. As if, this sort of thing were acceptable. IT IS ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE THAT YOU TOOK MY MONEY AND BUSINESS ON THE PREMISE OF A LIE. When I spoke to the customer service agent, she actually expected me to understand that many florists were not open on Sunday. I DO NOT UNDERSTAND. WHY WOULD YOU TAKE ORDERS ONLINE FOR A SPECIFIC ZIP CODE AND MAKE ME PAY EXTRA MONEY ON SOMETHING YOU KNEW YOU COULD NOT DO. Further, how is it possible that you had my order for 2 days and only called me an hour before my flowers were supposed to be DELIVERED. I actually had to speak to a supervisor to get my delivery charge refunded. YOUR COMPANY DID NOT DELIVER ON SOMETHING I PAID FOR, THEREFORE ITS REFUND IS EXPECTED AND OBLIGATORY. I am shocked you are not refunding my entire order as an apology for your horrible service. It speaks to the fact that this situation is a RULE with your company and not an exception. I will never be duped into using your service again and further, I will be posting this letter on every available review site I can find as I would not want any other innocent consumer duped.

ProFlowers review in Columbus, Ohio: Flowers received look nothing like what was ordered, poor quality

Flowers look nothing like shown on the web site. Small, wilted, broken stems, leaves falling off. Look like they should have been thrown out yesterday. Bought these for our 26th anniversary. Bad idea. Could have bought better looking at the local Kroger's for a lot less.Do not buy from this company. What a let down. They sent instructions that said to cut the flowers and add flower food, but no flower food came with the order. Am I supposed to run out now and buy flower food? The pictures on the web site should better reflect what you are really going to receive. Price value is not very good.

ProFlowers review in Mount Juliet, Tennessee: Hidden charges

We followed a coupon code heard on radio to order flowers for Valentines Day. We ordered mums ( a usually inexpensive flower) Total came to over $60 with the hidden charges tacked on to the bill. A vase was extra $$$. The customer service rep I spoke with said to call back after Valentines Day and she would refund my money, but tonight the rep could only say I should have read fine print before confirming order. Also, every radio code you hear will give you a differnt price, as much as $20 more that the other. No More PROFLOWERS FOR ME!!!!

ProFlowers review in Pflugerville, Texas: Flowers look awful!!

I received my flowers on Valentine's Day. Pro Flowers will send your flowers unbloomed so that they will last longer. They look pathetic when you get them and pathetic the day after they bloom. Co-workers actually come by and say my flowers look sad. That is a good response to hear about flowers your husband buys. I told my husband how they were delivered in a box be fed ex and showed a picture to him and he said that is not what the picture looked like. He said he would never buy from them again and neither will I.

ProFlowers review in Baltimore, Maryland: Poor Quality and Hidden Fees

I have used this company twice for Valentine's Day. I forgot from my first experience a couple of years ago, but got reminded this time. I heard their ad on the radio with a special promo code. I used that code and selected the flowers I wanted, $32.95 for 18 roses. The vase is extra (but that's where the discount is applied), and then selected standard shipping with a delivery date on the 14th. When I went to check out, I was not ever shown the final cost of my order. When I received my confirming email, I realized I was charged $12.95 for standard shipping, plus $4.95 for guaranteed Valentine's Day delivery, and all told, my hidden fees doubled the final cost of my order. I complained about the hidden fees and was given a 20% off your next order discount, but these roses have not lasted a week like they are guaranteed to do. So, buy your flowers from your local grocer, flower shop, whoever, and you'll probably still save a fair amount of money, especially if you've already got a collection of flower vases around the house from previous years. Or else, they could say in their ads that the flowers cost $29.95 plus additional fees for shipping and handling. At least then they would be more honest.

ProFlowers review in Tampa, Florida: Dropped the ball on Valentine's Day?

I am disappointed that the flowers I ordered for my mother in law were not delivered on Valentine's Day, but I understand things happen. I am upset that I was not promptly notified that the delivery was not going to take place so I could make other arrangements. However, I am infuriated at the customer service or should I say lack of customer service from ProFlowers! I called at 6pm to check on the status of the order and was told the florist had until 8pm to deliver so there was nothing to worry about. It wasn't until I checked my email the next morning that I received an email from Proflowers sent in the middle of the night that the flowers were not delivered and the order was cancelled. They stated in the email that once they realized the delivery was not going to happen they promptly notified me. This is false! Per your customer service the order was cancelled at 7:54pm however you didn't call and then sent an email in the middle of the night. I called customer service on the 15th and was basically told "oh well" and asked if I wanted to resend the order. Why would I pay premium pricing for flowers and shipping AFTER Valentine's Day? I received an email on 2/15 stating my money would be refunded within 5-7 days. On the 16th I get an email stating that the flowers I ordered did not pass quality requirements and that the bouquet I ordered was replaced with something else?? I called customer service as to the confusing email and was told I had to speak to someone at ProFlowers Express where I was transferred. Fifteen minutes later still on hold no one ever picked up. I sent an email to the contact email provided on your website on 2/17 then received an email stating that was not the correct email address and to send correspondence to a different email, which I did. So far no response, not even a "we have received your email and are looking into it". Yes I did receive a $25 gift email for my next purchase however this is not acceptable. First, why would I risk another order with your company since I have no confidence it will be delivered? Second, knowing that your customer service has not provided service to me thus far why would I risk another order and possibly having to deal with them again? I have been a huge fan of this company and have used them many times previously. I am not the type of person who will boycott something after one bad experience, however due to the lack of customer service I've received I cannot see any reason to ever use this company again, nor recommend it to anyone.

ProFlowers review in Dayton, Ohio: False adverting and poor quality

I wanted to surprise my girl friend with flowers for Valentines Day. After receiving the flowers She was quite surprised that I would send her a bouquet full of green leaves and 8 tulips. I thought I was orderings was 15 red, pink, and white tulips. The bouquet looks nothing like it does in the photo. I can go to Sam's Club and pick up an ARM FULL of flowers for $35. I thought it was just me but after complaining to my sister, mother, and uncle they all had the same experience!! Order one thing, receive something totally different. This is not how you run a business. Pro-Flowers should be ashamed of the quality of their product. I am extremely unhappy.

ProFlowers review in Boston, Massachusetts: Unreasonable Delivery Fees

On Feb 12 I had an order in my cart for delivery of two items totaling $79.98 on Feb 14. I was sick & lost track of time. So, I totally understand/accepted that expedited delivery would be more expensive. HOWEVER, I did not realize what a shock I would be in for w/Proflowers.Luckily, I reviewed my itemized order BEFORE submitting it. Shipping charges totaled $71.92! For another $30 I could have purchased a plane ticket & delivered them in person.ProFlowers shipping charges included:Morning Delivery: $14.99 x 2 = $29.98Rush Delivery: $ 4.99 x 2 = $ 9.98Standard Delivery:$12.99 x 2 = $25.98Care & Handling: $ 2.99 x 2 = $ 5.98 TOTAL DELIVERY: $71.92 *** ROTFL! ***I called to complain and a rep explained shipping charges were "out of their control" & were "set by the delivery service, where the items came from", etc. As a customer I DON'T CARE where the items originate & I don't want to hear excuses or feel like I'm being taken advantage of especially when I've placed multiple past orders. How can you think it's fair to charge a customer THREE SEPARATE DELIVERY CHARGES (Morning, Rush AND Standard delivery) AND then tack on care & handling for the same item? It appears that ProFlowers hoped I would not review the itemized order. Who the heck would place such an order when TOTAL delivery charges amounted to $71.92? As far as I'm concerned, even for 2-day delivery, it was a complete rip off. After reading reviews from Valentine's Day deliveries I'm glad I canceled the order. Instead, I ordered a beautiful fruit arrangement from Edible Arrangements. Delivery the day after Valentine's Day was $12 and the fruit was fresh and delicious. FYI - I checked and next day delivery charges w/Edible Arrangements is $12. Never again. It's unfortunate because I was a repeat customer.

Proflowers Fraud

My order was never delivered, and I've been trying to call there for almost a week. I keep getting transferred back and forth between Proflowers and Flowerexpress, disconnected and put on hold in excess of 20 minutes at times. I've been told that I would receive a call back and have not received any contact. I've asked to speak to supervisors. These poeple shoud be ashamed of themselves treating customers like this. I spend a lot of money on gifts, but will not be spending any of it here or at any of their affiliates inthe future. Clearly they don't care about how they treat people or the fact that they are going to lose customers.

I assure you this complaint is not bogus. My credit card is willing to help me to dispute the charges, but unfortunately, it still doesn't give the flowers I ordered for my gram to receive on Valentine's Day, nor does it give me backthe time I spent on hold trying to talk to someone. I have emailed them at their customer service email, and have now begun to contact them thru Facebook to see if they will respond.

Call your credit card company and dispute all charges. This company is horrible and gets thousands of complaints. Your credit card company will help you out, they are used to dealing with Proflowers chargebacks.

Original review posted by user Feb 19, 2013

my husband had flowers sent to me at work, he thought he was ordering flowers for a local florist to deliver not a Fed Ex driver, because it was a Fed Ex delivery it had to go to the warehouse before it got to me, then I told him they were in a box, I brought the box home and showed him and he was astonished because the flowers looked nothing like the picture and he thought they would be arranged and they weren't. When I unrubberband the flowers a big black beetle fell to the ground and the beetle was still alive, oh ya did I mention I live in a very cold climate during this time of year. the leaves had holes in them and the roses are now welting and dying and black around the top. The delivery charges were the same as the flowers. We could have ordered flowers from a local florist and they would have been a lot prettier and fresher for the same price. Never will we order from Pro flowers again!!

So-sad. The jig is up.

Your beloved company has been exposed for the horrible way it conducts business.

Are you really going to come on here and check every complaint as being ***? Well if you are, then you've got a full time job ahead.
