I was pleasantly surprised to receive a package from proflowers.com today at work. I didn't expect anything because my husband is not a romantic and we had planned to celebrate this weekend anyhow. So the fact that he took the time out to send me flowers today made my heart skip a beat. I opened the box and read the his message and then pulled open the green plastic sleeve and my heart sunk it was bouquet of leaves. I pulled the bouquet out of the box to get a better look and there were about 6 closed tulips hidden in the leaves. I read the description on the label which reads 'tulips red, lilies oriental', well I did receive closed tulips but no lilies. I'm upset that my husband money and effort was wasted! I haven't told him yet but I have to, he deserves a refund.

Just recieved the most sorry-looking flowers I have ever seen. The picture of what I was suppose to recieve and what came today was so different I thought it was a joke!

Yes, I am aware they come in bud-form, but the buds are HALF DEAD! And there was way more leaves, which hides the dead flowers....I called and they are crediting my acct back(as well they should)and my husband will never use them again!

I am the original poster, and I am now aware that they arrive in bud form, now that I look at the picture in more detail. When I ordered, I was looking at the flowers, not the words that basically spell out what you see here is not what you are getting, but maybe in a week or so.

That part is on me. Just a bit exasperated, as there is nothing I can do to undo the initial "what are these?" text message I received this am...

ProFlowers review: *** poor quality and misrepresentation

For starters. The flowers my wife recieved were wilted. Then they were not even close to what I ordered for her. The box of chocolates that came with them were no bigger than a candy bar she didn't recieve all that I had orderd for her. Needless to say I am very pissed off about this and I simply will NEVER order anything from proflpwers EVER again!!! Proflowers, you really suck! I am putting the word out! It's sad when you spend that kind of money for flowers, they should be exactly what you ordered and not a misrepresentation of what you thought you ordered.

Ordered flowers for my wife on Valentines day. Flowers looked beautiful on line.They were delivered in a box and looked nothing like they did on their website. When the box was opened 90% of the flowers were unopened and the rest were wilted. My wife sent me a picture and my heart sank. She called me crying and was so was embarrased to get such a horrible bunch of flowers while all her friends at work received beautiful flowers from local flourists in the area, my wife got ***!!! Thank you for ruining my wifes Valentines day. You Should be ashamed of yourself for shipping such garbage that I paid almost $79.00 for. I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!!!

This sounds exactly like my day yesterday. My husband ordered the same flowers for me yesterday from this company!

I was so embarrassed to receive them. Mine too were unopened and half of the leaves were wilted.

I called my husband crying and he felt awful, so I totally feel your pain. We will never ever buy from them again...

I received a delivery of flowers from Proflowers sent from my husband. I have to admit they were the saddest bouquet of flowers I have ever seen. Ladies in my office were joking that my husband sent me a salad and asking if Proflowers included salad dressing. I was embarrassed to even send a picture to him because it was so ugly. Proflowers should feel ashamed of themselves. Flowers are suppose to brighten someone’s day and this has not only upset me but my husband too! What he ordered is not what I received. The picture on the website is beautiful, the vase on my desk with leaves not so much. I think they forgot the flowers.

i am in the military so i am always away from home, iv bought about 20-30 bouquets of flowers, all from proflowers, one had one issue with them not being the correct flowers, still pretty but not what i ordered, i called proflowers they gave me a full refund plus sent the correct flowers the next morning. always a pleasure doing business with proflowers, dont let this steer you away!

Heard a add on the radio for proflowers thought with valentines day and my anniversary being on the same day I would surprise my wife and send her two different arrangments one was the 100 blooms of love the other was the tulip petals of love. When my wife received them this morning both arrangements had many broken stems and the tulips had lost the majority of their petals. She says it looks like someone went wild with hedge clippers threw it in a bag wadded it up and shipped it. I will never do business with these people again and I would advise anyone that is considering them to go to walmart and buy their cheap flower arrangements they are better than proflowers products.

NEVER BUY ProFlowers!

Confirmed orders for wife and daughter a week ago for delivery on Valentine's Day. On Valentine's Day at 1041am, received a curt email from ProFlowers saying that they were sorry but they couldn't fill the orders, but would "expedite" delivery. It's a little hard to expedite an order when it's already late. Called their 800 number to complain and was told, "we're so sorry for the inconvenience, but we took too many orders and hope to deliver your flowers within a couple of days." Asked to talk with a supervisor, was put on indefinite hold for 25 minutes, then transferred to "Alice in Los Angeles." Alice assured me that the orders would be delivered today. They weren't ever delivered. When I called again, they said that they were, "so sorry." I agreed that they are so sorry ..... so sorry in fact that I will NEVER use them again and go out of my way to tell others of my bad experience with their service and lack of concern.

Seriously, ProFlowers? I am not even sure what kind of flowers these are! I took them out of the wrap and they flopped over! They aren't open...or in bloom. I tried putting them in water with the flower feed and they are just hanging over the vase. I am ashamed to have them on my desk...whatever they are. The only good thing about the delivery is the thought and the teddy bear...which couldn't cost more than a dollar. Be warned...you get what you pay for. I plan on contacting ProFlowers and sending the picture. Happy Valentines Day anyhow...I loved the thought.

Had a dozen long stem roses delivered to wife's job. It came in a box. Roses were small and not arranged. One of the roses was broken. My wife had to cut open the box, unwrap the small roses, fill the overly large cheap looking vase with water and arrange the roses herself. Thanks for ruining her day. Flowers look nothing like what is pictured. I could have got a better looking arangement from Walmart at a quarter of the price. Will never use this company again and will advise other not to as well. Thankfully with this type of service, they will be out of business soon.

I've ordered alot of flowers in my day, but this is the FIRST time I've ever had the giftee receive them in a BOX. Now, its quite possible that Proflowers regulars are aware of their delivery method, but nowhere on their website (as of 02/14/2013) does it state this...
