Mislead

I ordered 2 different occasions, one birthday and one Mothers Day. The picture presented was NOT what was delivered. You must cut and trim from a cluster of some of the flowers and arrange them in the vase. You can call a chain, pick out a picture, call up and have them delivered and know thats what you ordered. For this you have to arrange it yourself. Yes, they will last 7 days because they are all buds (birthday "arrangement", how attractive. And the extra cost, early before noon delivery and overall cost is a ripoff. I ordered 40 tulips and 1/2 are drooping after 2 days, delvd 5/6, through out 5/9. Looks like ***, sorry but I am mad.

Will never use an online company again to order flowers! What a nightmare. Supposed to be delivered Saturday before Mother's day or on Mother's day and it's now Monday afternoon and they have still not been delivered! How embarressing to our mother that she received NOTHING. I have now called 4 times and still have not gotten this nightmare resolved! DO NOT ORDER FROM PROFLOWERS. I am on the phone now trying to get a refund and they have to wait hear from the "florist" that never delivered the order! I will not give up in getting my refund.

My sons ordered flowers for me for Mother's Day. They arrived on Monday the day after Mother's Day as ordered.

My complaint is that they were already dry and had brown spots on some of them. Today is Friday and they are dryed out and wilted looking.

What a disappointment! I feel that they wasted their money!!!!

:cry

Proflowers

My son sent me flowers from Proflowers. Iris and Tulips in a ginger jar. The quality was horrible!!! I called them and they said because they were so busy the quality suffered! They resent the flowers yesterday and they were just as bad. The 2nd set of flowers were healthy just really skimpy and small. Looks nothing like the picture. This is a classic case of bait and switch. I would never use Proflowers for fear they would send *** flowers and I would not know unless the receiver told me! Totally unreliable. Do not use proflowers!! They take your money and give you garbage

Missleading Proflowers.com

I purchased the $19.99 deal for a dozen long stemmed roses for my Mom on Mothers day. I live 100 miles from her so I never saw them. She said they were beautiful but even if they weren't thats beside the point. The $19.99 is a joke. It cost me $70.00 total and I didn't buy anything else from them except the dozen roses. They said that regular delivery is $10.00 but it's an extra $19.99 on Mothers day. So I spent $30.00 just for delivery. Then they said that the vase was free. It's free only if you join their website and to that you have to fill out all kinds of stuff. So I declined to join up and spent the $13.00 for the vase. Then the tax took it to an even $70.00. In their adds, they purposely leave out the details of the features that ppl will need that will cost them so much more. Their site has taught me a very valuable lesson. And that is to check the reviews of sites that might also be as shady as these guys.

I experienced the same as the previous complain. Placed an order for flower arrangement advertised for $32.95 w/ balloon - an additional $4.99, good, and seeing that the first day available for delivery was the "following day(Saturday)" , I agreed, and placed the order. It was not till I completed the order with credit card information that I discovered this:

Sub-total: $37.94

Standard Service Charge: $12.99

Morning charge: $4.99

Saturday charge: $4.99

Rush charge: $4.99

Order Sub-total: $65.90

Tax: $3.95

Order total: $69.85

I don't discredit companies from making an " honest" buck, but I feel this kind of practice is utter " trickery" and won't consider using their service again!!

Proflowers - wilted half dead flowers

Today I received a delivery of tulips for Mother's Day. The flowers were delivered by FedEx upside down and apparently had been sitting upside down for some time. This is probably because the label was on the box upside down. There are no arrows on the box to depict the upright position. The flowers were in terrible condition; the leaves yellowing. This is not my first bad experience with Pro Flowers and I myself have never ordered from them since nor will ever order from them again. I will let the senders know of the problem so I am sure proflowers has lost yet another customer.

False representation of pricing policies

Placed an order with Pro Flowers for Mother's Day on May 6th. No where did it say, except on confirmation page that there was additional charges ($14.99 was more than enough), plus additional handling. You deliver flowers, you should handle them with care anyway and not pass that off to consumers. To conclude, you advertise $19.99, and with your delivery, buying the cute cup, handling, tax, and spend an additional $60.00 more. Not ethical, nor good business. Will NEVER buy from this outfit again. Will use my local florist. Yes, I usually do not miss this ocassion, but had an emergency.

Proflowers and the lies they tell

Interesting quote from the call center rep I just spoke to: "... I don't work for you, I work for Proflowers." This quote says it all in my latest experience with this company. I placed an order on their website. Paid an additional $14.99 for "Guaranteed Valentine's Day Delivery," received a confirmation email, the money was taken from my bank account, the website showed the order as placed... It never showed. They said the order did not go through their system. Why would I get a confirmation and charge my credit card. I fulfilled my contract obligation and the onus was on them to deliver. The address was correct, my billing was correct, and everything in order. They said they tried to call me to fix the problem. What problem, I asked. I don't know, probably a problem with the credit card. Um, BS. The card was debit, there is enough to cover this transaction hundreds of times, and it posted to my account. Try again. What was the problem. They could not tell me. OK, if they called, you need to talk to the person who stated they called. They did not leave a voicemail, and there was no caller ID on the phone. Lie number 2. For the benefit of the doubt I said OK, computer problems happen, this was on your end, what can you do to make it right? Retake the order is the response. Wait, I fulfilled my end of the contract and you guaranteed delivery with an up-charge. So that guarantee has no merit? No, it was not in the system. Wait, it was in the system, with correct information, I can logon to the website and it says it was delivered. Lie #3. When I asked if I could talk to a supervisor, I was told I could not and one would call me. 24 hours no response. Called back and the nice lady Nicole read from a script constantly saying flowers are not that important, not everyone likes them. Besides the point, Nicole. I entered into a contract with your company that you charged me for and guaranteed me delivery, confirmed that with me and you are saying sorry. When I asked the nice lady Nicole for an employee ID or something to keep with my notes, is when she said she does not work for me and does not have to provide that information. The more I get into this, the more stories I hear about the poor dealings with this company. I CAN SAY WITHOUT A DOUBT THIS IS THE WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE I HAVE HAD IN MY 40+ YEARS OF EXISTANCE. I did not expect the world from this company, only what I ordered and for them to fulfill the contract with me and not lie to me over and over why they were unable and even trying to pass the blame back to me when I did everything they expected me to do to fulfill my end of the contract. Ordered, entered correct information, paid.

$19.99?? Don't fall for this price!!!

I think I'm gonna regret ordering Proflowers for Mother's Day. I just ordered the 'special' $19.99 arrangement. It's probably my own fault that I hit the Submit Order button before reviewing the total amount...but I was SHOCKED that the total came to $40.00...delivery fees PLUS hidden fees!! I don't think I'll be ordering any flowers from anybody again! Lesson learned!! I'd rather have given her a $50 Gift Certificate to a store or restaurant. I'm 'crossing my fingers' that the flowers will be decent looking and not wilted! Live and learn!

Proflowers sent dead flowers for Mother's Day

My daughter ordered flowers from proflowers and they arrived cooked in a box. The UPS driver did not knock on the door and left them on the porch at 80 degrees, they were wrapped in plastic and had a sponge filled with water at the base of the stems. 80 degrees, plastic and water cook flowers. I also ordered flowers for my Mother that happened to be in Alaska.....no where on the page does it say they charge 30 dollars to deliver there but it comes out on your statement at the bank!!! Never Again! Will I use their services!!

Said I could cancel; no place to do so!

I wanted ONLY the Mother's Day special offer. The site said I could cancel after this order. No place was listed for me to do so. I will warn others of this scam to get more money out of the consumer!!! I DO NOT want monthly deductions from my bank for this item!!! If it happens, I will report you to the better business bureau!! I feel your initial advertisement for a discount on flowers for Mother's Day is misleading and I ended up paying twenty dollars more than I expected to. I thought I was getting a "bargain", only to discover I wasn't!! I plan to tell all my friends about this scam!!

Pro Flowers delivered terrible mothers day boquet

To day I recieved a totally bloomless boquet from Pro Flowers ordered by my daughter in Centerville Oh. No local florist name was given but they were located in Easr County Mall in the San Diego,CA area. Delivery address was 17504 Plaza Gitana, San Diego, CA 92128. I would like for Pro Flowers to know it is a terrible flower and we feel victimized by the amount paid for it. I do not desire to complain to my daughter and thereby hurt her feelings but I certainly would like Pro Flowers to know of my disatisfaction. Helen Dussault, jcdusso@***.com

Pro flowers is a complete rip off!!!

Id heard the ad on the radio for mothers day flowers for $19.99. I figured what a great deal so I did my order on line. They charged $19.99 which were only for the flowers. You had to pay extra for a vase. They do not give you a total until you give them your credit card. My $19.99 flowers ended up being $55.00. I immediately called them and told them they better cancel my order now!! I cant believe the government allows this type of scam to continue. A girl at work this morning was going to order from there but I stopped her in time. BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is true!!! They are a rip off!!!

They are awful flowers. They are plain, ugly and they were falling apart. They don't have fillers (greenery, etc.) You are better off buying some at Vons or Costco.

They have better product with a more personal touch. Plus you can get nicer vases at a dollar tree.

Don't be a victim.

Disappointed!

I received 2 dozen roses for Mother's Day 5/7/2011 with vase. The vase was too large and too tall; most of the roses were too small. I have received flowers from Pro Flowers in the past and was satisfied. I carefully followed directions upon opening the package. This time really very very disappointed. I hope the chocolates are better! What has happened??? What can you do to reimburse my daughter? Appease me? They were sent to me M. Morey in Painted Post,NY by J.Picardi in Vienna, VA. Is the company doing anything about all the complaints?

Proflowers

I ordered a Birthday arrangement - the order was delivered late to a business. Proflowers response was that the receipent was not there when the local florist attempted to deliver the arrangement. Spoke with the business - no one attempted to deliver the flowers all day. This was at 5.56 pm. Proflowers response was refund of money or an up-grade to larger arrangement. A day late and a dollar short. Also they would send a $20 gift certificate for future use. What a load - why would I ever use their service again? A $20 gift certificate that for all intensive purposes is useless. Do not use this service - unreliable and their guarantee is worthless.

This company encourages FRAUD!

Someone stole my husbands debit card information and apparently easily ordered $137 worth of flowers on his card through Proflowers. They didn't question the charge at all. I happened to notice it when I looked at our online banking.

Since their phone number was on the line item on the online statement, both my husband and I called them. All of a sudden, they were like Fort Knox and could not give us a morsel of information to help us investigate.

Sure, someone else can order flowers on my account, but I'm not allowed to know where the flowers were going, what the card said, where or how the order originated, whether my name or a fake name was used, or what the heck Proflowers is going to do about it. They say the "department that handles these issues have no incoming or outgoing phone calls."

So, yeah, open the doors up wide for the thief and then make sure they're bolted tight for the person who is footing the bill. Figure it out, Proflowers, or close your doors altogether...period.

Mind you, we have never ordered from Proflowers and, of course, will never do so either. This company has no business being in business if they cannot run their business effectively.

Yes, we have filed a police report, and yes, they are willing to give us any information they obtain through their investigation.

The exact same thing happened to me. I got flowers from Proflowers.com.

Somebody stole my card information and ordered $60 of flowers on my card. Proflowers was not very helpful but my credict card company is investigating the issue.

Guest

And I should also add that the order was placed in my name, but on my husband's debit card. I'm sure another woman would just love getting flowers from the wife of her lover!

One more thing, please don't call me "Honey." You don't know me, and that's quite a derogatory term to use anyway.

To put it to you this way, if someone in the service industry calls my by a pet name, they lose a chunk of their tip. It's just inappropriate.

Guest

You are absolutely wrong. He is definitely not cheating.

The flowers were sent to a stranger accross the country from us, and he has NEVER traveled for business. We finally heard back from the deputy helping us, and he has confirmed, indeed, that it is fraud. Also, there were two other unauthorized charges on our checking account two days prior to the flower charge. Each of them was an order for an online credit check, one with my debit card and one with his.

The bank's fraud department recognized it the credit check company charge as fraud and immediately deactivated my card, but they did not notice the same on my husband's card so it was not deactivated, and the next unauthorized charge that followed was the much more expensive charge from Proflowers. So, Hellloooo back at you!! Not every situation is what it seems on the surface. I should probably have included the information earlier, though, about the credit report company.

I highly doubt he'd send copies of our credit reports to his mistress. Oh, and we were also notified by the bank that they had a situation identical to this (fraudulent Proflowers charges) a week prior to our reporting same.

Guest

Honey... Your husband is cheating!

Duh!!! Sure... Its "fraud", not a hottie on the side!

Um, yah... Hellloooo!!!
