ProFlowers review in Washington, District Of Columbia: Funeral Arrangement Dead

I ordered a standing flower arrangement for the funeral of a close friend and colleague for a funeral attended by hundreds of people. The dead-looking arrangement was not what I ordered. The florist subcontracted by Proflowers decided to use different flowers (pink snapdragons and orange lilies) for the gladiolas in the picture. When I complained about how bad the arrangement looked, they called me after talking to the florist who told them the funeral home would have rejected it if it was dead and that the flowers were of a comparable value, so no problem from their point of view. I will never order from them again!

I heard on DC101's Elliot in the Morning for a promotion with Proflowers to get Roses for $19.99 for Mother's day. You go to the website and enter Elliot into the Passcode box and you'll get $20 roses. When you start the ordering process they will show...

ProFlowers review in Washington, District Of Columbia: Unbelievable HORRID Experience!

Don't bother with paying for next day AND extra for morning delivery unless you have 45 minutes to WASTE on the phone while they follow up with whatever florist they are using and frustrate the heck out of you. The customer service rep first. 1. Requested confirm delivery - the flowers had been delivered...on the porch of a legitimate business! (btw no porch at the location)(wait 18 min) 2. The flowers had in fact NOT been delivered and they could not guarantee delivery time.(wait 10 min) 3. When I asked to speak to a supervisor the rep left me on hold for 25 min. I had to use my other line to call back and explain how furious I was. Total hold time 54 min. What a Crock!!!

My boyfriend decided he was going to surprise me at work (which he never does) with roses on Valentines day. When the flowers arrived at my office I was so surprised and excited. That surprise and excitement turned into complete disappointment. Not only did I have to...

Anyone else pick up key words here? You said your boyfriend ordered them, then turned around and said "I'm demanding MY money back and I'M never ordering from them again " just confused on how you lost YOUR money when your "boyfriend" paid for them?

?? And you conveniently had a vase available for the "surprise" lol

ProFlowers review in Washington, District Of Columbia: Never again

ProFlowers review - Never again
I was actually EARLY this year for planning my wife's flowers for Valentines Day and made a Proflowers order 10 days prior to V-Day. I took off work on V-Day and was home when the flowers arrived. Much to my dismay, I didn't receive any "flowers" but a bunch of green stems and unopened buds. Not a single flower bloom was to be seen in the entire arrangement. In the few hours I had before my wife came home, I cut the stems, put water and the plant food in the vase and put the whole thing near a window top hopefully coax the buds to open up. By the time she got home, half the buds had just started to open, but still, I had no "flowers" to give her. I understand that online florists have to take a bit of a risk and have a local florist supply the actual product. Part of this involves preparing bouquets of "young" flowers in the expectation that they will have bloomed by arrival. But Proflowers plus whatever local vendor they used did a HORRIBLE job - ruined my whole day. This bouquet may turn out to be OK in the next day or so, but that completely misses the point. Who the *** wants to get so-called flowers on Valentines Day and then sit and wait?? Take a look for yourself at the arrangement and you be the judge on whether or not this was worth the price (or any price).

Proflowers

Never ever order flowers from ProFlowers. I schedule a week in advance to have flowers delivered to my husband's office on the day of his birthday. He did not receive flowers. I called ProFlowers and he representative stated the subcontractor told her they were unable to deliver to the residence. First and foremost the delivery address was a business and secondly the office is open for 9 hours with a receptionist at the front door. If you are looking for gorgeous flowers, honest and timely delivery, go to Corolla and Calyx. They are worth every penny. I normally utilize this company but decided to try something different. Never again.

I tried to order the Succulent Garden plant, but when I was ready to pay, I received: "Oops... the item you selected is temporarily unavailable. But we've got other perfect gifts that are in stock and ready to ship!" Hmmm, I decided to move the delivery date out a month and received the same Oops... I decided to order the Succuent Trio - which is three of the plants and surprise, surprise - no Oops - the Succulent Garden is in stock. I am not happy with these people and will let Mark Levin know that he is dealing with a bunch of dishonorable people. I know Mark well enough that he will not want his name associated with this company.

We're sorry you had difficulty with our site. It does appear that the Succulent Garden isn't available with the terracotta pot currently, only with the bamboo pot. The same "Oops... the item you selected is temporarily unavailable.

But we've got other perfect gifts that are in stock and ready to ship" message is received if you try to order the Succulent Trio with the Terracotta pots because they are also unavailable. You can order both products if you choose the bamboo pot. We understand that the bamboo pot is more expensive and apologize for any inconvenience that the temporary unavailability of the less expensive option causes for you.

If you have any further questions or concerns about this product, I'd be happy to address them for you. You can call me directly at 888-855-3486. -Steve @ProFlowers

ProFlowers review in Washington, District Of Columbia: This time the flowers were bad

My daughter has sent me flowers several times before from Proflowers and I have to say, they were great. The flowers she sent me this Mother's day were simply awful. Tthis was not a pretty arrangement by any measure. Some of the flowers never did open and one flower looked like it had been trampled and looked very ragged. How could a company that has been very good up to now fall so flat on it's face this time? Now I wonder if some of the flowers arrangements I have ordered from Proflowers have looked like this? What a come down for Proflowers!

My darling wife just received a selection i made last week for her birthday. She claimed many were wilted and some were dead.

I am attempting to work through the customer service "links" on the pro flowers webpage.

I will try to follow up to let you know how I was/wasn't taken care of. Its really unfortunate when you basically get one chance to get it right and get delivered a sub standard product.

My mother got roses from them for mothers day also. One of the colors of roses was dead the next day.

She called them and they said they would sent out new ones on Monday. Very helpful :)

ProFlowers review in Washington, District Of Columbia: Mothers day

They took my money and didn't deliver 100 flowers that I ordered. Maybe 25 flowers if I lucky. Will tell EVERYONE never to buy from this rip off company. They should be put on the list of worst companies and I am embarrassed that this is an American company. Shame on you for ripping people off of their hard earned money. None of my friends or their friends and their friends will ever buy from this company. I will even call the radio station that I heard this on and tell them to cancel the advertisment and tell them what they have done to people.

ProFlowers review in Washington, District Of Columbia: Dead flowers...did not last even one day.

For past 3 years my daughter has sent me proflowers and the quality has been horrible. Flowers nearly dead, roses with petals falling off, drooping filler flowers. This time my husband was home and they were dropped at the door with out ringing door bell. The vase is always cheap and color does not match flowers. I did not want to tell my daughter as I wanted her to feel good about sending roses to me on this special occasion.....this time, I felt enough is enough. Hope she does not waste her money next year. Walmart would be better.
