Automatically cancelled order | ProFlowers review from Dallas, Texas

I ordered a bouquet from ProFlowers for my mother in law for Mothers Day only to get a surprise email 2 days before it was supposed to be delivered saying the order had been cancelled. I had to call the help line just to find out why. Supposedly all thelocal florists were overbooked. Yet, ProFlowers still took my $$ and cannot provide a refund for 3-5 business days. Which means I'm out a mothers day present AND $60. Thanks ProFlowers.. For nothing. I will never use you again. When I asked the customer service rep to be compensated in some way to use pro flowers again, he more or less scoffed at me. After ten minutes on hold I was told there was nothing else that could be done. Why can't ProFlowers check availability before accepting payment??

TOTAL SCAM! | ProFlowers review from Dallas, Texas

Just like others on this complaint site. Paid $29.99 for flowers to be delivered to my Mother-in-law for Mothers Day. The e-mail confirmation was more than $20.00 higher. Also ordered these flowers off of a Facebook promotion and did not get the reward that was promised. When I contacted CS they stated that my order did not qualify. LOL They did not have any instructions on the promotion. I filed a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau! I strongly suggest others do the same. You cannot put an end to something unless you make it hurt their pocketbook!

Is it better to not receive flowers or to receive dead flowers for Valentines? I would have to say I would rather not send my girlfriend flowers than give her dead ones! I was appalled today when my girlfriend sent me a text to indicate she received her flowers and...

I tried to order flowers for a sunday delivery ($120 worth). I paid all the extra surcharges to make sure they were there in the morning and would be something to make her day (she's only on site for 3 days) the delivery was to be before 12:00 noon on sunday. At 10:30am sunday they sent me an e-mail messages (which i didn't get until the evening) that they couldn't deliver the flowers that day and please pick another day.

This was after going through them in detail and confirming they could make the delivery. I was prommised that they would be delivered 1st thing monday morning, then when they weren't their by noon that they would be there in the next hour, then when they still weren't there that they would be there as soon as possible.

Even though their mail message indicate one Doug Chaplin is the head of customer service nobody seems to know who he is or how to reach him. Very convenient.

If you need flowers on a given day this organization is a SCAM with continuous bait and switch tactics.

I would recommend that no-one orders from them again.

Flowers never bloomed, Bouquet barren, Ignored by Customer Service. | ProFlowers review from Dallas, Texas

I ordered a bouquet of white lillies for my mom on Mother's Day. They arrived on time, but they might as well have never come. My mother sent me a picture of the "bouquet" which was wilted and thin and had no flowers, only bulbs. The not yet bloomed flowers would have been okay with me (well hey, mom will get to enjoy them longer, NOT), however no bulbs EVER bloomed, just turned brown and died. I have tried to talk to someone with customer service, but I get transferred here, there, here, there, and then I have to eventually hand up. I WILL NEVER EVER ORDER FROM PROFLOWERS AGAIN AND I WILL TELL EVERYONE I KNOW MY BAD EXPERIENCE. Had the customer service department tried to make right (just send my mom a better bouquet is all I ask) I would be content and quiet. But, they did not do that and now I am even more disappointed. Sorry, Mom.

Sorry to hear about the poor quality of your flowers. I am also sorry to hear that you received poor customer service.

That is not typical, and definitely not at all how our agents are trained to handle customer issues.

If you were not able to get this resolved to your satisfaction at some point, please give me a call directly at 888-855-3486 and I'll look into personally for you. -Steve @ProFlowers

PROFLOWERS

The flowers/roses that were delivered from ProFlowers today (Saturday before Mother's Day) were hideous. I just looked at our bank account and he was charged almost $70 for multi colored brown tip, small bud roses. No other greenery or foliage to go in the vase to fill it around the roses, just the tiny roses. He could have done better for $20 at the local grocery store or even Walmart. RIDICULOUS! He also told me that they claimed a 9.99 additional fee for Sat delivery and almost $15 charge for Sunday delivery - he chose Saturday delivery but said they charged him both delivery fees. (?) There is no break down on the charge to our bank account so I do not know if this is accurate yet or not? Who do we speak with to make a formal complaint? Jim and Amy Hiatt, Plano, TX

We're sorry that you weren't pleased with your flowers! It is true that our flowers are delivered in a box.

We obtain our flowers directly from the growers to ensure maximum freshness. And while we understand that this method may not be preferable to all of our customers, it is what allows us to guarantee them for seven full days. As far as a Monday surcharge, that stems from the fact that because flowers cannot be shipped out on Sunday, they have to be shipped late on Saturday instead.

Regardless, if you were not pleased, we will make it right for you.

Give us a call at 888-855-3486. -Steve

My friend and I purchased 3 bouquets of flowers worth $255.00 for our mothers and mother-in-law. The bouquest were hideous to say the least.

They came in a box and my friend had to rush to put the flowers together before her mother-in-law saw it. She didn't even receive the right amount of roses and the lilies weren't even open. It was horrible. Once she told me, we spoke to our mothers and they also said the same that they had to put the floweres together.

When she went to see her mom's bouquet that she purchased, it was nothing like the picture on the website.

Lets not even talk about ALL THE ADDITIONAL FEES!!!!

WE WILL NEVER PURCHASE FLOWERS FROM PROFLOWERS.COM AGAIN. It's a SCAM!!!!!!

It is accurate, I've seen it on people's bills. There is also an extra charge for Monday delivery.

Misogyny | ProFlowers review from Dallas, Texas

Proflowers you make me laugh! Sending flowers to the very women you endorce as "***". Hilarious! I will no longer be using your website to send flowers to the special "***" in my life. To support a misogynist with vitriolic statements is an outrage and to save face I encourage you to withdraw your association with Mr. Limbaugh. Your company I presume is to honor women of all ages for some special occassion but now you're sending the public a conflicting message. From a business standpoint I'm sure your company knows the right course of action. Hopefully you will survive your miscommunication.

"***" was the proper word to use versus *** to make Ruhs analogy parallel to what he said. a 30 yr old, regardless of student status should be mature enough to manage their sexual alledged picadilo cost(s).

Again why should insurance take on that non existent risk?

Why force an institution to do something against their stated morals?

Why enforce an individuals morals?

Pro Flowers Never Sent the Flowers I Ordered RIP OFF | ProFlowers review from Dallas, Texas

Flowers were supposed to be delivered a week ago. I NEVER RECEIVED THEM! I've called several times only to be hung-up on. One person working there even called me a "liar" and a "cheat". It's not true. I live many states away from my mom and tried to surprise her with something nice for her birthday and now she thinks I forgot and am just now ordering her a gift even though I have NEVER FORGOTTEN in the past. You couldn't pay me to do business with these crooks. Ever again. What a waste of time and money. What a horrible experience.

Advertiser on Limbaugh show | ProFlowers review from Dallas, Texas

Looks like business won't be what you expected in the coming months should you continue to advertise on the Rush Limbaugh program. Your feeble statement on Facebook that "your company does not agree with the subject matter....yaddayadda" on the Limbaugh program does not excuse your obvious support for this misogynistic slob. Does it not occur to you that your customers are primarily women? Then it will not surprise you overly much, I should think, when your business (and affiliates) drops off substantially. BUY LOCALLY, FOLKS! Do not support a company that supports America's woman number one woman hater!

It's simply a lifestyle choice | ProFlowers review from Dallas, Texas

Dear ProFlowers, Since you choose to stand by a man who uses your sponsorship to fund his hateful tirades against women and their reproductive health I can also assume that you do not wish to rely on us "***" and *** for your business. Not only will I NEVER do business with ProFlowers again, but I will encourage every man and woman I come in contact to do the same. I am tired of politicians and radio jocks alike using their power to degrade and belittle women with little to no repercussions. I will be using my buying power as a woman and the main shopper in my home to protest not only ProFlowers.com, but any business that associates with these types of so called men.
