i saw on tv that i could get a order of 50 tulips, a red mason jar and a box of chocolates for 19.99. i went directly online to order and found the deal for 20.99 it was only a dollar more so i didnt mind.
i placed 2 in my cart and put that they were going to the same address. the total for the flowers were 41.98 and taxes were about 3$ each set. once the total was put up the amount of the sale was 102.52.. i was wondering where the extra $60 dollars came in at..
it was for shipping.. 15$/each for shipping and then there was another 6$/each charge for a second handling fee. and then the flowers were not charged to me at the 20.99 charge, they charged me 27.99 for each bouquet. leaving me with the total of 102 once taxes were added.
I dont understand how shipping is more than the product itself.
oh this was after they took off a discount of 25% that the website had posted.. i ended up calling in cancelling the order once i seen the full amount and why they are charging 2 shipping & handling fees that added up to 30 for just one package, when asked why i was being charged shipping and handling for each item and they were going to the same address i was told they were seperate orders
